    Best lift, 2011 Tahoe LT?

Just a note on the Mcgaughys lift, the instructions leave a lot of info out, def check bolts before starting, i didnt and was missing or had the wrong size for quite a few spots, and the finish already has rust coming through on quite a few places. The positives - its well built, the parts are...

    EXT Z55 Autoride lift

I think your first concern is that AWD. I looked at the same kit for the sierra, it specifically says does not fit AWD

    Best lift, 2011 Tahoe LT?

From what i understand the fabtech lift doesnt relocate the rear control arms and causes the axle to shift forward. Ive seen that some guys order those brackets from pro comp directly or use a kit that includes them

    5100s to replace autoride

The mcgaughys lift comes with new springs. I check already checked with them, they supply the same springs for the z71 lifts and z55 lifts. So thats not an issue.

    5100s to replace autoride

okay so i found a video on the resistors on youtube. and I am assuming that the stock replacement bilsteins are good since the lift has drop brackets for the shocks, BUT im still unclear on if ill be able to do a spacer at all if the rear is sitting lower after ditching the air shocks

    5100s to replace autoride

Well, i knew i should have just done it when i did the lift. One pump comes on every time i start and it still sits 1.25 - 1.5 inches lower on that side after its done. I never wanted to deal with the air ride, so i think ill just replace with the 5100s. i have a Mcgaughys 7" lift. It has drop...

    Positive camber problem after lift

Im not sure? Whatever is stock is on there for the camber plates. I made some witness marks. well see if they move. Its weird. Now sometimes they look like they are leaning and sometimes they do no not. More so on the driver side.

    Positive camber problem after lift

I installed a Mcguaghys 7" on my 2012 suburban recently. After i had an alignment at a shop. A couple weeks later i noticed outside wear on my front tires and then could easily tell it had massive positive camber. Brought it back and they re aligned and said it was out almost 2" on the top on...

    First Oil Change?

I bought this 2012 suburban with 94000 on it. Im at 97xxx and am thinking about my first oil change. Ive searched around and read threads, multiple people suggest different brands for different reasons. I even saw one comment about not going with synthetic unless you know it had it already. So...

    ArcticTwist's 2012 Suburban Build

A portable air compressor and plugs/fix a flat was what i was leaning towards. Already took the spare off while i was doing the lift. Speaking of air pressures, Ive been trying to figure out where to keep them. They came set to 34, drove like crap so i upped them to 38. Seems good. Whats...

If you have a BODY lift, its not affecting your suspension.

Welllll that project sucked. I dont think ill ever install a lift like that on my own again (i did have some help from my dad, but most of this was on me) But Here it is! 7-9' Mcguaghys lift, 20x9 0 offset RBP wheels, 35" nitto ridge grapplers, 1.5" spaces in the back the even out the track...

    Help with suburban rear lift!

Installing mcgaughys 7-9 inch. Got the front done, not without issues. To say the directions are lacking is an understatement, plus some things not fitting right. Anyways. Does anyone have any pictures of the rear end lifted? I'm confused on how these lower control arm relocation brackets go...

    ArcticTwist's 2012 Suburban Build

Thanks man, the only hard part was the door switch panels. Getting those rounded humps right next to the switches was a PITA. Some of them ended up bubbling a little on my after a day or two. Its not bad so i havent redone it yet. Well see. All the dash parts were pretty easy to do. You dont...

    ArcticTwist's 2012 Suburban Build

First, I picked up this suburban. Its a 2012, LTZ with about 96k on it. I didnt actually want an LTZ because of the autoride (just another thing when lifting), chrome and wood grain. But i couldnt find an LT with captains chairs and the touch screen. (little did i know i would hate this stock...
