    Size of tires

Not without an Injen or Hondata sticker, more like 20hp. Of course just kidding to the OP lol.

    Tire decision

I can't deny the these trucks are simple lol. So far I have been pleasently surprised by how easy things were to fix. And my god the cheap parts! even quality replacments are so cheap compared to factory V.A.G parts. I have to admit I still get an itch for german cars though. Mostly when I am...

    Refreshing my stereo.

Those things would be nice but I probably wouldnt spend the extra cash to get it. Basicly looking for bluetooth and decent sound quality. Just so I am not patheticly listening to Podcasts through my phone speaker on the console lol.

    Refreshing my stereo.

Thank you for the feedback this is a huge help. Sorry it took forever to replay I never saw a notification that someone replied to me lol. I am definitely on a tight budget, I may just bite the bullet and spend a bit but I am saving to take my family on vacation, had to buy tires and all that...

    Console Ideas

I have the center consol with remote tape deck and CD holder. As I do not have tapes or CD's to use I feel like this is wasted space. Has anyone done anything custom with their outdated equipment? I was thinking of remove it it and building some kind of more useful storage space. Or looking for...

    Sleeping inside your NBS

I havent slept in mine yet but out of curiosity I took out the 3rd row of my XL and folded the seats down. A twin air matressed fit with room to spare for gear. When I camp with my family we have tents but I hope to sleep in the back when I go hunting. Seems like it will work perfect.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I like those PPV wheels, forgive my ignorance but are they 16" or 17" where did you pick them up?

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Finally replaced the dry rotted falling apart Michelins that were on my Yukon. Stock size BFG rugged terrains, might go bigger next time. So far (just driving around today) I like them. not too loud on the highway at all, not as quiet at the Michelins but I couldnt afford the same replacment...

    Tire decision

Thats good they at least gave you a workaround where no one is getting in trouble. I was an Audi tech in the early 2000's so it was mostly late 90s early 2000's before they were super complicated, mostly worked on Volkswagens, the new ones blow my mind. We have gotten in a crazy horsepower war...

    Tire decision

That's a bit over zealous of them for sure. When. I was a VW/Audi tech I wouldn't put a new tire on an AWD car when the rest were completely worn but those are some sensitive systems. Last time I had to buy only one tire I was still a tech and did it myself but some times people get what's ideal...

    Tire decision

Thanks for the feedback! The non-stop train of unexpected expenses finally stopped at fort chowder so I picked up some tires today. Ended up getting a pretty good deal on some BF Goodrich rugged terrains in the factory 265/70 size. Just drove around running errands after and they seem great so...

    Refreshing my stereo.

So I have a 2002 Yukon XL, non-bose rear sub with center console tape deck no onstar. Since I got it a few months ago I have been istening to the radio with nothing but tweeters and the third row speakers, maybe one of the back door speakers still work a bit. I got some new In box pioneer...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

A couple months ago I got my new to me 2002 Yukon XL. I like clean engines. I didn't check with you guys first so now I'm doing this.

    Tire decision

Haven't checked the forum in a while didn't see these responces! The wallet keeps taking a hit, and since the Michelins I have on the yukon still have SOME life left new tires have taken a back seat. I have to say the small lift and tires you have are the exact look I am going for. I do mostly...

    SLT or SLE?

Is there not little badge on the side of the truck? My 2002 Yukon says SLT on the side by the back window.

    New guy

I had an 01 Silverado 4.8 when i lived in Alaska. 190k miles and it dragged lots of cars out of the snow with a tow strap. Unless you are worried about speed all of the availible engines are powerful enough to get most jobs done. With that said, when the 4.8 gets tired its an easy swap for...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Today I did a light cleaning of the engine compartment. I don't think it had been cleaned in 16 years! Unrelated note: This weekend I'm replacing the knock sensors! Should have done a little reading first. But at least I will be able to seal them up properly.

    2" lift with smooth ride.

I am leaning towards this in a couple months when I have the spare cash. I have seen people regret the 4600's being too soft but havent seen anyone complain the 5100s were too rough yet. Its mostly a highway cruiser and with how much garbage I dodge here in San Antonio some tightened handling...

    New Yukon owner

Looks nice! Surprised how good it looks without the molding. Mine are nit in the best shape. If i decide to replace them I think ill see what it looks like without first. I want to remove my ugly factory side steps but my wife and daughter are both 5'1" and voted that down lol. Ill have to...

Awesome thanks for the info. I was actually thinking of Z71 springs instead of spacers. How do they ride?

Trying to delete this post lol. I went to load a photo and it uploaded a bunch of pics from my phone. One of an xray of my foot, my daughter's homework, and a loaf of bread. I could only edit it and delete everything lol. These pictures were taken months apart and i have no clue what happened.
