So after pulling the trans out of my 06 Tahoe I noticed the tag on it indicated it is a 2005 4l60e instead of a 2006 as you would think, does this mean my 2001 4l65e transmission will work? From what I know they should be the same because they changed in 2006. If anyone has any information that...- 06 Lilly

I don’t plan on keeping the vehicle for too long so if it makes it a little while longer I could care less, the 3-4 clutch is toast, theoretically I could just swap the input drum in and keep my fingers crossed correct? Or can I swap the valve body from the 06 60e into the 01 65e? In the perfect...- 06 Lilly

New here with a few questions, recently scored a 2006 Tahoe with the 5.3 for $800, it needs a transmission (4l60e) I have a transmission from a 2001 GMC Yukon XL with the 6.0 sitting in my garage (4l65e?).
