I feel ya, I got a doe last season with a buddy's bolt-action 7mm-08. As far as hunting goes, the only firearms regs here that I'm aware of pertain to primitive weapons. We have few regulations and a very plentiful harvest each season.
Really I got this gun as an all-rounder that I'm going to...
Nothing new since the tune. Bought a new hunting rifle last week so my wallet is not very happy with me.
I have had the tune for about a month now though and my initial impressions haven’t changed. Shift points feel great, trans doesn’t hang like it used to, engine feels healthy.
I’ve run E85...
Got my @BlackBearPerf tune yesterday and so far I'm pretty happy with it. Shifts are firmer and deeper into the powerband, and I don't have to beg it to downshift anymore. I can't tell a huge difference as far as the engine goes, but it definitely feels a bit more eager to get up and go. Not...
I'm wondering the same thing as well. I think that the tow/haul mode can be reprogrammed; if that's an option I'd like to take advantage of it and get a sport mode.
I've asked them about this, they said they can't. Options are try to find a dealership that can reprogram them (Only dealership I...
If Morimoto offered them with a chrome housing this is what I would've done. But part of it is just me seeing if I can do it or not, plus I like OEM parts. I just realized a few minutes ago that the mounting holes in the bumper cover are asymmetrical while the BMW fogs are symmetrical, so this...
Made a really stupid decision and bought LED fogs off an F15 X5 this afternoon. Only $156 for the pair plus free shipping, so not a bad deal, but still.
I saw a thread on a different forum where a guy retrofitted these fogs into his NNBS Sierra and it worked but not without a lot of...
So I left to go on a trip last Wednesday and got back last night. I took an Uber to and from the airport so my truck sat from Tuesday night until this morning. When I went to start my truck this morning, the battery was completely dead, not even a click.
Had three different people try to jump...
This is my understanding as well. They say you have to run a vacuum reference line for it to actuate, but where do you run it to? Corvettes have vacuum cutouts from the factory so you don't need FI, but I'm still not completely sure how it's all plumbed.
Does anybody here have any experience with vacuum-actuated cutouts? I'd like a cutout to a dump pipe in front of my center muffler but don't want to fool with an electronic one; it seems like they fail too often and I don't want a non-OEM looking switch in my dash. Opinions/experiences?
Short answer: you'll be fine.
Long answer: lower-octane fuels are really only a problem when you have forced induction (i.e. a turbo or something). If you run low octane with FI then you can have detonation, which can be pretty damaging. I have a 6.2 and ran regular in it for the first few...
They used to be my favorites too, but ever since I got the truck I've wanted to swap them out for the ones that came with the 75th anniversary Suburban. Still an OEM wheel, just not original to my truck specifically.
Thanks, they’re Diode Dynamics SLFs. They’re a bit more expensive than comparable LED bulbs but they’re designed and manufactured in the US. I’ve been buying from DD for a few years and they have great customer service and great products.
