    HVAC programming

Update - I took my Tahoe in for the steering and braking recalls, and had them look at the air conditioning. They said there was a software update to correct "hiccups" in the system. So far so good, I set it where I want it, not in auto, and it maintains my settings. Sadly, the weather...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I'd like to see what can be done, then go from there. But disassemble code? Not something I'd even know where to begin at. I was hoping there was some sort of all-inclusive BCM programming platform that could be used to make changes, not something where I have to figure out individual 1s and...

    HVAC programming

I bought it out of warranty. After finding that every new GM I buy is a lemon, I no longer buy new GMs, or even used GMs from a GM dealer. When I have a warranty I expect them to fix my issues but what I get is runaround after runaround until I get pissed at the vehicle and trade it off. When...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't ask, HOW ARE YOU DOING THIS!!! There's a ton I want to do to my BCM.

How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

On my 2015 Tahoe I had a pretty loud buffeting, turned out to be the black piece of trim on the driver side front door. At highway speeds the wind was pulling it away from the side of the door and acting like a wind scoop. When stopped, it was back where it belongs. I only saw it because when...

    HVAC programming

I am having a problem with my 2015 Tahoe with the automatic climate control. When it is not in Auto mode, it still keeps acting like it is in auto. It will switch from outside air to recirc with no warning, and after I force it back to outside air a couple of times it will start creeping the...

    Hullo

Not too big on pics. Right now it's a bone-stock white exterior/gray interior Tahoe, appearance-wise. I just installed 4.11s, which helped low down grunt but were I to do it again I'd probably do 3.73s. Stupid 12 bolt rear really caused problems with this since the aftermarket really doesn't...

real life MPG differences (3.08 vs 3.42)

You ought to try it with 4.11s then. Put them in my 2015 with a speed, and it flies down low. Runs out up top though, as expected. Lost about 1.5mpg over the 3.08s. If I had it to do again, would go with 3.73s, I think. It drove like a school bus before, runs more like a car now.

    How did you find TahoeYukonForum.com?

I found this site while trying to identify a mystery engine driven component. Turned out to be the vacuum pump, which is there I assume due to the AFM setup not allowing enough of a vacuum draw to run the brakes reliably.

    Vacuum pump swap

Howdy - found this forum while trying to figure out what the third belt was driving. How bad was the braking with the pump not working? I'm debating removing it and replacing it with a vacuum canister. The less the engine has to drive the better, in my opinion.
