    Drove an 02 Tahoe for many years that did not buffet with any window(s) open. However it did bang fairly bad with the sunroof open which did not have the deflector. My 18 does with the rears down as mentioned above.

    My ‘18 Tahoe came with what I assume is a harness for an aftermarket controller in the glove box. Of course it is not hooked to anything in there. Plugs under the dash somewhere.

    I’ll bet it was fun to compare the two. Apparently the LT you drove had the luxury package which is really close to the former LTZ trim level, only missing the cooled seats, adaptive cruise, some chrome and Heads up display.     No problem with my 18 but only has 13k. There are so many of the 15+ vehicles on the road that I find it hard to believe that problems are as common as they are perceived to be on sites like this. The only reason most people come here is when they do have problems.

    I am not familiar with the retractable boards but would it look better to disable the retract and make them stay out permanently? Just a thought.
