    I bought the cheaper sensors offered on ebay. They work when I start the vehicle, but after driving a few miles one of the four generally stop working and I get the message. I had read that the AcDelco sensors are the only way to go, but I didn't want to fork over that much cash.

    I debated doing that to my Escalade when I swapped in the 4l80e. The 263 uses it's own control module that you'll have to connect to the PCM, so grab that and he wiring harness from the truck you source the 4l80e/263 from.

    I put a turbo on my Miata. I love it, but it's a never ending project. There's always more needed than the kit you buy provides. My next Miata project is upgrading the transmission and rear end because I'm on borrowed time for them to fail. The same would be true for the 4l60e in our GM rigs.

    Maybe you could find a 2500 Suburban with the 6.0/4l80e and sell your old one? I almost went this route, but I really didn't want the length of a Suburban.     When my torque convertor was going bad, it felt like I was driving on the rumble strips on the side of the road. If I let off the gas it would stop. I poured Lube Guard Instant Shudder fix into my trans and it solved the issue.

    My friend did this between two full size Broncos and it was a PITA. I think you'd be miles ahead buying another used Tahoe and selling your old one, or saving it for parts. But if you have a lot of free time on your hands then I'd say go for it.

    What do you mean by noisy? I think everyone uses Z71 tahoe springs to get rid of the spacers.

    These wheels were flaking on the inside part of the wheel. I painted them with the caliper paint to make them look better and hopefully slow down the flaking. .
