    275/55r17s installed

    Got a set of Toyo Proxes ST III in 275/55r17 because I wanted a tad smaller and wider tire. They fit great, ride smooth, and they are quiet. They look better too with the directional tread pattern. I had to adjust my tune for the smaller tire so the speedo reads correctly though.

    2WD to AWD conversion

    Has anyone went from 2WD to AWD? I'm wondering what parts are different and how much weight it would add. I figure I'll need the 6l80 and transfer case, front cross member, drive shaft, front diff, spindles and CVs. Are the control arms different? Any other parts?

    Would a factory exhaust from a 6.2 denali or escalade bolt up to a Tahoe 5.3? It sounds better and is larger.

    Got myself an HP Tuner and when reading my ECM on my 11 PPV it said it has a CTS-V FPCM. I'm assuming these don't come on all Tahoes. anyone know what advantage it has over a normal one?

    Be careful jacking up your AWD

    Went to change the oil on my wife's new 07 escalade AWD the other day and our driveway has a slight slope to it. As soon as the front tires came off the ground it started rolling down the hill. None of the 2wd will do this so it surprised me. Be sure to set your E brake!

    I'm having problems with the vvt I think on my 07 escalade. Code P0011. what parts could be bad? Should I start replacing vvt parts and hope they won't go bad again or just delete it all and put a decent cam in?

    How do you bypass the dash light sensor?

    I think it's confused. When I'm driving in sunlight it dims my dash and radio down so I can't see it but when I'm in the dark it's at full brightness.
