I think there’s the problem. I was just digging around on RockAuto and every front strut for a ‘16ish Tahoe/Yukon measures about 17” extended.
The rears are about the same as the ZR2 Shocks.
How much physically longer are the ZR2 struts vs your OEM Yukon ones?
The ZR2 is 2" taller than a standard T1 pickup, not sure what that equates to in Yukons. I can say my '19 T1 1500 with 2" taller suspension (Bilstein 5100's for a Trail Boss) sits noticeably taller than my wife's '22 Yukon...
Hmmmmm. Our '22 Yukon is doing this. We can hear a faint rattle occasionally from the front passenger side while going at highway speeds. It does have a moon roof.
I can't say I've looked but I'd want to verify if your Suburban and the Silverados/Sierras use the same front CV shafts. With the GM fullsize SUV's and pickups diverging from each other more and more I'd want to verify that first. You could end up with a set of Trailboss/AT4 axle shafts that...
My wife's Yukon has a dummy blank on the steering wheel in place of the steering wheel heating button. They told us when the parts are available we will get a letter saying to schedule a service appointment to have it installed for free.
Trying to put the kids’ carseats in our 2022 Yukon. I watched a video online and discovered the trick to moving the little clip that lets the headrest move up. Problem is the passenger most side “leg” seems anchored in the seat now that the headrest is up about 4”. It can go back down but won’t...
Yep. Slate Walnut. The GMC website doesn’t do it justice. Much nicer (to us) than the black we had before.
Thanks! We are so far.
We actually ordered different wheels on accident but those were on back order so they substituted these. Worked out for us.
Ours is here!
Two weeks before Christmas it went from waiting to built and awaiting transport.
Yesterday the salesguy called and said it was there. Cleared our schedule and we are picking it up now.
The factory doesn’t align them. They build them to spec and everything “should” be correct when the truck leaves the factory.
“Should” not “always is”.
Most of that inventory is sold. Remember as soon as it gets a VIN GM puts it on the dealer's website even if it is already sold and not actually available to buy.
That said Laura has gotten a few in for stock so far this season. None optioned how we wanted and they disappeared quickly.
