sorry I searched but I must have failed...we have the 2" RC levelling kit right now and am happy with it. Can I add the 5100's into the mix to get more height in conjunction with the 2"? has anyone had issues with this?
thx! just on the inner rear part of the fender...its not an issue for us but every other truck ive had to trim quite a bit, and this is the least rub ive ever had...so not messing with it.
very minimal. only like in a situation where you have full lock and are reversing on uneven pavement or a hill or something. I haven't done any trimming and for what we do its not worth the effort, but if we went with a non-stock offset custom wheel I'm sure we would be annoyed by the rubbing...
I'll get a few more pics soon...should be a few more in my build/intro thread.
I don't drive it much to know how off the speedo was, but we did the blackbear tune so that fixed it anyways. id say a little hit on mpg but not terrible...maybe .5-1, but that's me guessing
I always like the 285/50 just because it gives you a little added height that I thought it could use when levelled. You give up a little width tho obviously, and your tire options are more limited than 305/45. My friend is running the 305 and it looks great also. I guess I just wanted to...
very cool!
I'm running the same size tires and I'm happy with them. in a perfect world id have a touch more offset than the factory 22s give, but I like the height of the tire. I'm running a 2" level kit only and rarely rub.
we have the factory black 22's on our silver denali...I think you either want them to break up the look of the silver and chrome or you don't....it seems polarizing.
hi there,
I haven't gotten the tune put in yet...been so damn cold lately I haven't messed with it yet...hope to this weekend. I did install the afe momentum though and am happy with it....for sure has a 'roar' to it, although I now have to track down an interior resonance rattle it's created:)
