    LED Daytime running lights?

I used the kit from GenDIY linked earlier in this thread and it worked perfectly.

As long as you don't go crazy with the negative offset, the only thing you'll possibly have to trim is the corner piece on the inside front fender. In my opinion the square off stock design doesn't look great anyway and rounding it off gives it a much cleaner look (even though you can only see...

It would have been the same stock size. I have a 2017 Z71 Tahoe.

I ran 285/65R18 on a 2.5 level with factory rims. The only rub I had was on the upper control arms at full lock. I added 1.5" wheels spacers to them, and had to do some minor inner fender trimming on the front and a little hammer work on the inner fender well on the rear.

    6" BDS Lift

I was actually going to mention this in one of my previous replies. It seems like most trucks are made with wider fender well openings, which equates to more tire clearance with less lift. That coupled with the popularity of lifting trucks, there's a lot more options out there. If I could...

    6" BDS Lift

I used the regular 6" lift without the coilovers. They must have just added that option to their website, because a month ago when I was looking they didn't have it listed as an option (although I knew from research and talking with them that it was an option). The only difference in the two...

    6" BDS Lift

Overall I'm happy with the lift kit. The only thing I didn't like is having to add the adjustable panhard bar to the back to center it up. Their kit comes with a bracket to level out the stock panhard bar, but I don't know if it needs to be taller or what. The inner fender work I did when I...

    6" BDS Lift

Absolutely. I ended up installing the 6" BDS lift and kept the 1/2" spacer under the coil spring to make sure it sits level. I posted several pictures in the "show off your lifted Tahoe" thread. I've got 20x10 wheels with a -12 offset running Toyo AT2 295/60R20 tires. These are effectively...

    LED Daytime running lights?

Any updates on being able to retrofit the 2018 DRLs into earlier models?

Thanks. Yeah I'll post some pics when it's done. Road noise is almost non-existent. I had RTs before these in a smaller size, and they were a little louder but still not bad at all. I went with AT2s because they were a little lighter with the bigger size, plus with the tread was hoping to...

You were half right. :) 20x10 wheels with 295/60 tires. At the moment the rear sits 1/2" further to the passenger side - I'm installing an adjustable panhard bar this week to correct it. I wanted to see how it looked after that before deciding on spacers. I've also got a set of hellwigs...

Yes, of course it came with factory tow hooks. I think he was asking if I had to remove them to install the light, which I didn't.

It's the 30" curved single row from Rough Country. I kept the tow hooks on when I installed it. With the lift, the factory skid plate was removed. I ran a flat bracket from the upper factory skid plate bolt hole to under the tow hook and that's what the light bar is mounted to. I used a...

    LTZ/Premier Headlights in a LT

Has anyone tried to install the LTZ/Premier headlights in a LT model? I have a 2017 LT, and would really love the daytime running light LED strip. I'm assuming the difference has to be either in the headlight assembly themselves, the headlight controller, or both. I've considered swapping to...

    TPMS Sensor Problem

No, I haven't had them switched out yet. I'm waiting on a couple other parts to come in that I'm going to have the shop install and am saving it all so I just have to leave it once. It should all be ready by the end of the week and I'll let you know if it works. Strangely, over the past week...

Anyone have thoughts on Hellwig sway bars for a lifted Tahoe? Thinking of installing them front and rear because I'm experiencing a little body roll with the 6" lift, in some cases bad enough to cause the traction control to activate in corners.

    TPMS Sensor Problem

The shop put in new aftermarket ones. My plan is to go back and have them install OEM sensors to see if that fixes the problem, unless there's any other suggestions.

    Lane Depart Assist Adjustment?

Posted this in the lifted section but got no response so thought someone here may know. Anyone tried to adjust the lane departure assist themselves or is the only/best way to take it to the dealership. With the 6" lift I just had installed, I can tell it needs some adjustment. On sharper curves...

    TPMS Sensor Problem

I have a 2017 Tahoe, which was just lifted 6" and had Fuel 20x10 wheels installed. This was last week, and since then I've had problems with the TPMS sensors in the rear. All four sensors were working (showing a tire pressure on the instrument panel) then the next time I drove it the left rear...

    Lane Departure Assist Adjustment

Anyone tried to adjust the lane departure assist themselves or is the only/best way to take it to the dealership. With the 6" lift I just had installed, I can tell it needs some adjustment. On sharper curves at highway speeds I can notice the assist fighting me in the turns even when I'm in...

Just picked it up from the shop yesterday night and this is the best pic I could get. It's been raining all day today and is supposed to rain for the next several days, so as soon as it stops and I can clean it up I'll get some better ones. 2017 Tahoe Z71 with a 6" BDS lift on 20x10 -12 Fuel...

BDS vs. Fabtech 6" - need help deciding!

Thanks for the advice. No plans to upgrade the bumper or add a winch (I haven't seen any aftermarket bumpers for a Tahoe that I like), and realize it's going to cost me a little more to add them later because of the cost of the shop's labor. At least then if I add them I'll feel better about...
