    2008 Yukon Hybrid

I believe that's the part number. I didnt order the harness though. Im going to wait to see if the plugs match before ordering anything else.

    2008 Yukon Hybrid

I ordered the aux trans pump this morning. Should have it within the next few weeks. I'll try and get some decent pictures and notes on the replacement.

    Hybrid transmission

This is what I have already replaced. Aux pump control module is what it is. I guess that’s the power supply, although I’ve never heard it named as that. It’s been so long I don’t remember which connector went to what.

    Hybrid transmission

If I've already replaced the control module (2010 version), do I need to buy the additional wiring harness or is the new 2010 version aux pump pigtail long enough to reach the control module?

    Hybrid transmission

As far as the removal and install, did you have to drain the oil or just remove the pump and bolt on the new one? Trying to gauge if I can do it at home or if I need to put it on a lift.

    Brand new Trasmssion Aux pump

BG I sent you a PM.

    Hybrid transmission

Bringing back an older thread. Has anyone swapped the aux trans fluid pump and wiring harness themself? Im ordering the replacement this week, just dont know the technical procedure for this. Truck has north of 225k miles on it now. I've already changed the trans pump control module a few years ago.

    Brand new Trasmssion Aux pump

I'm considering replacing my aux trans fluid pump as well. Curious to see what your resolution is, and a parts list for everything needed. I've already replaced the control module and wiring to eliminate the bump/jerk. Now I have problems with a stall coming out of hybrid. I believe my pump is...

    2008 Yukon Hybrid

I've never changed the aux trans pump on the transmission but I suspect that it has caused some of my transmission problems. The only parts I've replaced to date are the aux module and two connectors. I think I may replace the aux pump itself but have not looked for a write-up on it yet. My...

    Oil pressure sensor replacement

I believe there is an oil pressure sensor socket designed for this type of repair. I would suggest getting that correct socket vs a standard socket. You can do it with manifold on, get a few flexible socket joints and it takes less than 30 minutes. Replace the screen and the new sensor.

    Hybrid transmission

What’s the procedure for pulling the trans on a hybrid? I’ve installed some TH400 and 700R4 10+ years ago but those were on older trucks. I’m guessing disconnect battery, drain fluid and go.

    Hybrid transmission

Anyone know about having to program the transmission once it’s installed? Or is that dealership talk for “don’t attempt this at home”

    Hybrid transmission

Apparently it takes longer due to it being a hybrid. I do know it needs a new wiring harness because they changed the connectors on it after 2009. I could buy a reman unit online for $3000 ($1000 core) but I’ve only done motor work on this truck. Never had to disconnect the hybrid battery or...

    Hybrid transmission

Dropped the Yukon off at the dealer this week because the transmission has been having some issues. They pulled the pan and there's metal shavings galore. I'm guessing the hybrid trans fluid pump has given out and caused the wet clutches to grind away at themselves. Quoted $4000 for the...

    Driver seat movement

I don’t think it’s related to that repair with the plastic parts. I think this is internal in the seat itself. Seat tracks normal and doesn’t slide unnecessarily.

    Driver seat movement

Ive got a 2008 Yukon and a driver seat with some annoying issues. The seat itself works normal, power is good, all the adjusters work. My issue is a popping noise and slight jerk or shift. It feels like under acceleration from a stop or slowing down under deceleration, the left side of the seat...

    08 Hybrid Tahoe Still Stalling

Change the hybrid torque control module and pigtail. Takes about 2 hours max.

    2008 Yukon Hybrid

Since I changed the control module and harnesses, it has not stalled once at any point. During my troubleshooting (I think 2016), it would stall multiple times per week. I made the change, the computer relearned itself, and has been clear since.

    Hybrid transmission

That’s a lot of info. I appreciate that. I know the engine has its issues, AFM, etc. My concern is the aux trans pump. I’ve already swapped out the aux transmission control module. Some days to change the pump, some say you’d know if it was bad. The dealership in Memphis isn’t sure what it could...

    Hybrid transmission

I’ve got a 2008 Yukon hybrid and just rolled over 200,000 miles. Seems like my transmission is acting up, clunky noises during shifting or pulling light loads. I’m curious if anyone has had problems with these transmissions or have ever had it replaced/rebuilt.

    200,000 miles

She makes me nervous sometimes. The oil pressure is an ongoing battle, and the trans is probably going soon. But other than that, it’s just another truck. I’ve had worse problems out of other vehicles. My biggest problem is nobody knows how to work on them so there is no reliable data or write...

    200,000 miles

The wire pin out changed on the new module. I kept all the wires identical thinking it was wire for wire. That’s when I figured it out. Kept blowing fuses and I pulled t apart. Positive and negative changed. Swapped those and no issues on the module or stalling since.

    200,000 miles

I replaced it myself. Had to wire in the new harnesses. They are NOT color coordinated and don’t come with a wiring diagram. Installed the new module and it took about 48 hours to clear the code. Basically I researched for awhile, and determined it was faulty when the truck kept stalling during...

    200,000 miles

The only item I replace was the hybrid torque control module, located beneath the engine battery. Requires 2 harnesses that must be rewired. That’s all I’ve had go out so far.

    200,000 miles

Haven’t sent oil off. Never have, I just change it regularly. Have not done a compression test but am considering a top end rebuild within the next year.
