What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

If I never go wide open, there is hardly a drop when I empty it. If I go and beat on it it will be full. No no, that is what came out of the can. But yes it does smell like whiskey hahah. I always have at least 80% ethanol in the tank.

    Torque converter recommendations 6l80e

I forgot the 278 is already much cheaper than the 258mm pro billet. Don't ask what I paid, or how much this next one is going to be, $599 is pretty damn good haha

I do mine every Sunday but forgot to take a picture for you last weekend. This is what I was referring to.

    Torque converter recommendations 6l80e

If you do confirm it is the converter, you won't go wrong with Circle D. There are some more affordable options if you won't be racing but a sub 3000rpm 278mm would work wonderfully. I run a 258mm Circle D in mine and love it.

Holy.... How do you have it routed? Mine is nice and clear and smells like that nice spicy Kentucky "water" lol

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I'll hopefully have the new one ordered and installed by the end of the year. Im happy enough with this one that I'll be going with them again.

Oh for sure, it will be over in my suspension/drag thread. Can't run a spare so I'll mount a cell in the back.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Thank you all for the love lol, I was not expecting that. It will still be a 4link, but im going to move them inside the frame rail. On the axle I'll cut the factory coil perch and weld up a bracket for the upper and lower bars and weld a cross bar to the frame and run a traditional coilover...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Went out and did some rolling shots on Sunday. Driving it every day and slowing making progress on it to get it where it is now has caused me to forget that it started out 100% stock with a crappy metal grill. Can we all take a moment and laugh that I thought that looked good hahaha. Also, I...

    AFM

It's possible. The manifold didn't have any liquid oil in it when it was pulled though and it never smoked during a pull. Who knows, running great now on 7 used and 1 double used lol.

    AFM

I can only assume, but we never found it. Combustion chamber, valves, exhaust port.. no sign of damage. No CEL, no sudden loss of mpg or oil consumption, nothing. Didn't find anything in the cat. It just... vanished. It broke and just yeeted itself on out haha. Thankfully I started the build...

    AFM

Purposely bought my '08 for this exact reason. Bought it with 147k miles in 2017, no AFM, good service history, etc. About 185k-ish I got "the tap". Showed up, never went away never got worse. Around 190 I decided I wanted to keep it and dump the money I did into it and have a fun bada$$ daily...

    AFM

Oh I know, it's just a classic case of good plan (mpg) poor execution (AFM) and really adds to my love hate relationship with GM V8s.

Looking for fuel pump/injector suggestions. 08 6.2 Denali

Tuning is out of my realm. I am not exactly sure what he changed on the controller, if anything, when I installed my fuel system. I do know that I did not remove the actual control module, nor did I change any wiring. By all means, put a new oem pump in it, but obviously get an actual gm oem...

Looking for fuel pump/injector suggestions. 08 6.2 Denali

Because it seems you are a car guy with the sti comment, I'm going to make the assumption that you do know the difference between return and non return instead of explaining it and sounding condescending haha. If you are unfamiliar, no harm no foul I'd be more than happy to. Our Denali's, I...

Circle D converter- how to launch?

Torque management will play a huge factor like you said. My 60' should be AT LEAST what Randeez was on his 12sec pass, but so far is .1 slower. I didn't get enough passes to really play around with it but depending on the converter, powerband, and torque management it will either like to be...

Looking for fuel pump/injector suggestions. 08 6.2 Denali

You're smack in the middle of what I like to call the "This could get out of hand quickly" zone. What I mean by that is this: Stock pump will handle the power Stock injectors will not Large ftermarket injectors will want a return style fuel system Stock pump/hat is not set up for it Stock...

    Who has supercharged a 6.2 ?

These 6.2s love a nice blower ..I mean don't we all!? Eh? Eh?... Anyways, yes go for it. Simple install and a nice pick up in power over all. Thought about going with a Whipple or Kong 2650 before I started down the path I'm on now. Something about a 600-700whp supercharged awd suv is just...

Worth it to go from 3.73 to 4.11

Just don't get max efficiency confused with max effort. If it's still on a stand, now is the time to make sure everything will work together happily. Sounds like you've got the direction pretty much figured out. To come full circle though and the purpose of the thread. I think you'll be happy...

Worth it to go from 3.73 to 4.11

Well not an XL but still 5700 lbs lol. Okay so it sounds like you're still mid way in the planning stage. I'm not unhappy with the driveability of this converter, it's great on the street. It just isn't putting me in the powerband at the tree. I can footbrake to 3400 and it's not close to...
