    How to reset Long Term Fuel Trim without Tech2

    Is there any way to reset LTFT without Tech2? Mine is reading -20% after getting some garbage gas in Mexico a few weeks ago. I drained that tank out and refilled with local gas that is less than 8% ethanol, but the code keeps coming back and the trim doesn't want to budge from -20-ish. -J

    I personally would not. I bought a 2012 Escalade ESV for the wife about 3 years ago, and a few months after I got a 2012 Infiniti QX56 for myself. The QX is a much nicer ride IMO. I don't have to worry about motor mounts, crap suspension, cheap feeling interior. Everyone is different of course. -J

    yep, that mount is toast. At this point there would be no way I'd go with the OEM mount. replace it once with the Hummer mount and forget about it.

    Broken Motor Mounts

    I did this yesterday. Yea It's a real pain for sure. You basically have to work completely blind to get those top bolts on the block. My truck is an AWD, removing the steering shaft is a big help, and it's only 2 bolts. I didn't remove the drivers halfshaft... didn't see the need.

    08 Transmission Flush

    Youtube Yukon transmission flush on youtube. There is a method of pulling the cooler hose off of the trans cooler and using the transmission's built in pump to flush all the fluid so you can get a 100% change. Basically refill 2l, pump 2l, repeat until fluid runs bright red. Works really well.

    do you have RSE? I have an xtrons unit for my BMW (actually they are really all the same. The stock android on these is pretty junky. You might want to head over to the MTCD android auto section on XDA and plug in malaysk's rom for PX5 or PX3 whichever style unit you have.

    Idea about factory RSE when wanting new head unit.

    It does say after studying the description you can listen to radio and have kids watch and listen separate. Cool. FWIW, I just installed an Xtrons unit in my BMW. It was super easy as all wiring is pre made for the car. Plug and play. I'm really happy with it. -J

    So I had a thought today. I want to upgrade my Escalade with NAV and RSE to an Android head unit. However, maintaining dual zone is going to be impossible as there are no Android units I am aware of that support dual zone. So I thought... why not just re-locate the stock head unit (NAV and all)...

    Debadge rear 2012 Escalade

    My kid decided it would be a good idea to pick at the Escalade lettering on the rear of my 2012 ESV. So I'm thinking about finishing the job. I'm pretty positive all the lettering is adhesive only, but is the flex fuel badge only held on with adhesive as well? Thanks! -j
