Ahhh - gotcha! Thank you very much for your help! That answers a lot of questions for me, all in one shot. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

Swapping rear HVAC controls - possible?

Here's what I'm seeing under the rear of the "a/c only" Tahoe: I haven't had the chance to peek under the back end of the model with full rear heat/cooling controls, but I'm betting you're going to tell me that's what those two pinched off lines are in the first image - the heater lines...

Swapping rear HVAC controls - possible?

So I have access to the rear hvac controls that look like this: Can I / should I swap these in place of my "a/c only" controls that are in my Tahoe? What all is involved? If I simply swap out the controls, do I automatically get rear heat? Is the foundation in place to run heat and cool...

I would. I think I'm about to head down this road myself....

Creaky driver's seat - driving me crazy!

I've got a 2001 Tahoe in the LS trim. Leather front seats, power forward/back/up/down, manual lumbar and recline. The seat makes a creaking noise every time the momentum of the truck shifts; in other words - when I use the throttle, the seat shifts ever so slightly back and it creaks. Let off...

    Weak blower motor / fan

Looks like a super dirty connection between the resistor and blower motor. Not even joking. Pulled the connection apart, cleaned all the contacts, reassembled and voila! I now have rear a/c. Sheesh. Too good to be true.

    Weak blower motor / fan

Quick correction....I double checked, and yep - two cabin air filters up front. I totally missed numero dos. Straight hurricane force winds up front now! Haha

    Weak blower motor / fan

About to take a peek at the rear blower motor to see what I discover there....

    Weak blower motor / fan

So I swapped out my cabin air filter; I only saw one. Is there a second back in there? Just the one made a huge difference. Feels like it's really moving some air now!

    Weak blower motor / fan

Finally finding some time to get this dealt with. That, and it's warming up quickly - so momma is cracking the whip on me! Here's the rear controls in my '01:

    Weak blower motor / fan

So how do test my blower motor? Should I just start with the resistor and THEN move to the motor? Where is the front blower resistor? The rear is under the plastic cover on the passenger side in the cargo area of my Tahoe, correct?

Touching up some large scuffs and scrapes - any input?

Anybody tried any of the spray touch up paints? How did they work?

Touching up some large scuffs and scrapes - any input?

So our recent family addition has some decent sized scuffs and scrapes on her. I'd like to cover them up if possible... Looking for suggestions that won't cost me a grand (as per my local body shop!) - She's not perfect but any means, but if I can clean them rather affordably then I'd like...

OK - about the plugs.....gapped to what and torqued to 11 ft/lbs, correct? Don't put anything on the plug threads - but a little dielectric grease on the wire ends - correct? I don't wanna mess this up! Haha!

    Weak blower motor / fan

OK, right on. I'll start there. I bet if I do a search on blower motor resistors, I'll find a good right up on all of that. Do worn resistors keep it from pushing air at full blast?

    Weak blower motor / fan

Seems like the blower fan in my '01 Tahoe just doesn't move much air. When we turn on the A/C, I can feel cold air blowing out, but it's just trickling out - not blasting as you'd expect. Where do I start to chase this thing back into formal BLOW mode? I can't hear any particular weird noise...

Those Taylor wires get good reviews, but what's the warranty like? How does it compare with the lifetime warranty the Belden wires come with?

AC Delco 41-110 then? That's the plug I want for my '01 Tahoe 5.3? I've got to get them on order. Need to do these this weekend if I can squeeze it in.

Any opinions on the Belden wires? My mechanic recommended them this afternoon, bc of the lifetime warranty.
