07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

No complaints yet, though needed a buddy to bleed the ABS with external device.

    Autoride bypass

Have you tried removing the RTD fuse, remove a battery cable (for a few minutes) from the battery, hook back to the battery and see if that eliminates the message/Autoride system?

    Autoride bypass

Your substituting the shocks with the resistors, not the ride height sensors. The shocks have a 2 wire connector, cuts and splice. Doesnt matter which end is connected to the resistor.

    Autoride bypass

I have the 25 watt resistors on the fronts along with Bilstein shocks (works good no Service messagage). Does the 25 watt resistors work for the rears too (NBS Autoride)?

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

Yes, felt braking was with less effort and people actually noticed the bigger calipers.

    Alternator swap info

OK figured it out, since '05 & '06 is a 2pin connector, its just figuring out which/what wire is what via the service manual/schematic. Disconnected my 4pin plug which is really a 2 wire, either make an adapter so you can go either way or remove wires from 4pin connector and put in place a...

    Autoride bypass

hey Red Rocket we have almost the same set-up, my rear Beltech lowering kit came with replacement rods for the sensors, I just haven't installed my compressor pump to my Autoride to confirm its operation. So the front height sensors are hooked up/untouched?

    Watts for stock alternator?

Power Select part# 8292253 , $140 CAD. Stock wires with a Red Top battery, but will do the Big 3 Upgrade asap just because it is older wiring and is an easy upgrade. Cheaper to do the 253amp alt. upgrade than dual battery conversion?

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

Thanks. Just gotta clean them up, paint them, rotor(s) and pads on transit and install them with new crush washers for the brake lines with new brake fluid and the fronts are complete... Was suppose to be a simple replacement store bought parts ($300 rotor/pads), after searching this site for...

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

I called an over the counter wrecker for '07 Tahoe front caliper/bracket and they wanted $70 a side, not too bad. Tried a Pick-a-part wrecker, got a little muddy, found a Sierra with drums in the rear (after just reading the few last posts of '05 up drum brake trucks), measured the front rotors...

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

Just confirming this upgrade is for my application?? For 2001 Yukon Denali XL (front brake set-up) and parts would be from 2007+ Tahoe (calipers with mounting braket and hardware with 13" rotors)?

Heater core woe - but stuff is off now!

Old school eh? Anyways what brand are those O2 sensors? and was your truck idling rough at times or are you replacing because of an engine light?

Heater core woe - but stuff is off now!

Thanks but too late, I just used some spit, lol, she was tough inserting at first. Was on the fence about using lube thinking it might harm the O-ring.

Heater core woe - but stuff is off now!

I just snapped the end off mine while removing the passenger side engine cover. I hope this applies to my application and hope my local Bumper To Bumper has Dorman # 800-403 in stock in the morning. Thanks S1nemesis1s for sharing
