    Ticking noise. Lifters?

Yes. It ended up being an exhaust manifold leak. The bolts were broken. Never even crossed my mind to check :smh:

    Ticking noise. Lifters?

It reads 0 when it’s in the run position. I’ll have to try a scanner tomorrow.

    Ticking noise. Lifters?

I did it myself and just did the standard 5W-30 Valvoline with an AC Delco filter. I just noticed it about a week or so ago. It doesn’t really happen on a cold start which I find weird but if I turn it off and turn it right back on, it starts ticking again.

    Ticking noise. Lifters?

Yeah. Oil level is good and clean. I had an oil change about 300 or so miles ago. I’ll have to try out an analog gauge.

    Ticking noise. Lifters?

It’s pegged at 80 so I’m not sure if that’s the actual pressure or if the oil pressure sending unit is bad.

    Ticking noise. Lifters?

I was hoping it wasn’t that smh. It’s only got about 185K on it. Runs and idles so smooth. No CEL, no bad idle. I guess it’s time to let her go.

I linked it in my post but it’s been weird. Here’s the video:

    Ticking noise. Lifters?

This ticking just started on my ‘05 Tahoe. Doesn’t really sound as loud on a cold start. Hoping it’s not lifters or a rod knock. Any ideas what it could be?

Has anyone done a full interior color change?

I have tan interior in my '01 Tahoe and I want to switch it to black but I'm worried about getting my seat belts to match because I've heard the dye will cause them to deteriorate. Any pointers on how to get my seat belts replaced or where to start with the color change?

    Antifreeze leaking with no overheating

‘01 Tahoe, 207K miles - The low coolant light came on so I let it sit while I ran and got some. Came back to this leak. No check engine light and no overheating. Any ideas what to check first? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Overheating/Heater blowing cold. Please help!

So I replaced the water pump and the car is still overflowing and is leaking this brown fluid. It might be oil but it only leaks when the car is running and it comes out like crazy. Could it be a head gasket?

    Overheating/Heater blowing cold. Please help!

I was able to pinpoint the leak to the water pump so I'm in the process of replacing that and the hoses, just in case. I'll have to keep you posted, if anything.

    Overheating/Heater blowing cold. Please help!

I replaced the thermostat and it's still overheating. I refilled the antifreeze and it started leaking. I haven't driven the car since this was posted but there's a puddle of antifreeze along the bottom on the fan. [emoji53] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Overheating/Heater blowing cold. Please help!

'96 Tahoe here. When I have the heater on, it blows cold after awhile and the car temp goes past 240 and the "Check Gages" light comes on then once warm air starts blowing again, the temp goes back to normal. The engine will smoke a little here and there when idling. Any ideas what could be wrong?

    Fuel Gauge Jump

I have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe and the fuel gauge tends to jump around a lot. Does anyone know of a fix for this issue? I noticed someone posting about this issue before but there was no fix mentioned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
