I replaced my upper control arms about 7 months ago and just noticed that one has a tear in the boot grease don't look like any dirt got in yet so think that replacing the boot would work

I'm servicing a 2000 Yukon rear differential and it states in manual plus there is a blue warning label on the rear differential that it should be only filled to about 1/2" below fill plug
I did a search looking for the capacities and it looks like everyone just fills them up to the fill plug...
I just picked up a new 1/2 shaft for a 2000 Yukon slt and it is fully compressed and only springs back when you pull out on it
