Thanks for the help
I ordered some from Auto Zone they said would be in today. But when I went into town to pick them up now they wont be in until Tuesday and I need the truck on Saturday.
I put on a add on cooler years back that used rubber lines so thought I could just patch it up with some...
after replacing a tie rod you need to adjust toe
so if done properly I think you would be ok doing it yourself
I would also take tire condition into consideration
I want to thank everyone for there input
I fixed it with rubber fuel line
I did contemplate using steel even after I started but that would have required me to drop the gas tank
And I have a bad back so my Yukon would probably be still sitting on the stands 2 weeks from now had I went that...
I cant find any place that sells them or even has a part # Or carries boots in stock for another vehicle
I should have worded my posts a little better
And without getting a response here it's obvious that I am hoping to buy something that just isn't sold
I'm going to get a new ball joint and...
I spent a few hours looking online and called all the local parts stores to see if they had anything in stock that might fit but they all said they are special order only and don't carry any in stock
I know I have heard about replacing them even ran across some for other vehicles thought I saw...
I replaced my upper control arms about 7 months ago and just noticed that one has a tear in the boot grease don't look like any dirt got in yet so think that replacing the boot would work
I don't want to have to get another alignment so was thinking that replacing the boot would be less likely...
Was hoping rubber would be ok
I never worked on a return line and don't know if it has higher pressure so steel would be needed
once you have to touch the connections on rusted steel lines
I think your better to just replace everything from the get go
and splicing in new steel gas line would be...
did you enter your vin at a dealer site like GM parts direct to get the proper part #?
Then enter that in the search field for fuel pumps at rock auto
that's the only thing I can think of to help
Just bought my Yukon almost a month ago and think I have everything fixed but fault code P0453 Powertrain - auxiliary emission controls - ISO / SAE controlled
Should either be the wire or pressure sending unit on gas tank
I am under the impression that this shouldn't affect anything but just...
I just got the cheap $30 kit on amazon and shortened the mounting bracket
Someone on here has put one in the dash but is more work required cutting a few pieces to get it to work
For lube the red stuff is supposed to be the best but all I know is from reading the tubes at the store I never researched it myself
changing fluids are always good
Just don't get your transmission flushed
Just do fluid and filter on the transmission where I worked we got memo after memo not...
wooo hoo :):)
Left side only took a little over an hour and didn't have to use heat
I went to get new bolts for the upper control arm and picked up a free rental pickle fork
had it off within 10 min of getting home think it just needed a little more and the second pickle fork did it
So far I have tried beating on the sides of the knuckle
Jacking on upper control arm and smacking up on it with a mini sledge (now a paper weight)
A pickle fork and chisel
Its drenched in penetrating oil
I have not tried heat yet because I have the door to the garage open to let heat in from...
Is there an app that lets you know how your coils are performing?
or something that tells you how your fuel tank pressure sensor is working or at least send a code to turn it on so you can test if its working?
I downloaded knock detector and fuel economy so far but haven't used them yet
why not just use one that goes on the license plate bracket?
if you don't like the look you could mount it under the bumper where its harder to see
Or I was thinking about drilling a hole on mine and mounting it behind the bumper so it looked more like it was stock
