Has anyone ran the nitto terra grapplers g2 in the snow and rain? Cause on dry tires are tires. But wet and snow is where I want it to do well an shine. I am hoping and praying to move out of Hellinois soon and get in the south.
Ok well first of all the alignment is perfect. Auto technician here and I check it all the time. My driving habits are highway and around town. Never do mudding or anything like that. Maybe 5% gravel roads. But...I do drive it like I stole it. I am extremely hard on this truck. I just hate the...
Hey guys! I have a 2009 Yukon Denali and have the 285/45/22 tires on it. Stock suspension. This thing has horrible understeer. Was wondering what the best tires you guys are using. I do have snow and rain to contend with. I love my nokian tires but they burn up way too fast since I use them all...
Well I don’t mind the ride. I drive this like I stole it and when I get into turns with the 20’s it slides out from under itself constantly. I don’t mind sacrificing ride comfort for better control.
Hey everyone! I have a 2008 Yukon Denali that I love but hate the color! It’s the gold/tan color. I want to go with 22” rims and love the ck375 rims or or snowflake style but can’t decide for sure. Love the stealthy black look but may look stupid with the gold and chrome everywhere else. What do...
No screen on this truck. 6.2 with no cylinder deactivation. I wish it did! I fear the worst like a can bearing but don’t have no oil pressure at idle and no noise at all.
Well I got my hands on the adapter for the oil pump housing to check pressure at sending unit and oil filter. I am getting 3-4 psi drop at idle 15-17psi at oil sender and 20-22 at filter housing. And at 2k getting a 9 psi drop. 41 at sender location and 50 at oil filter housing. Just wondering...
The filter I use is a pf48e AC Delco! Usually always run oe filters. And in dericks video that’s exactly where mine sits at idle. It used to be right at the 20 mark or a hair more.
No noises or codes at this time. I do drive this truck hard for sure. Only thing I did recently was rear main/new trans/new front diff/manifolds/injectors/etc. nothing directly related to oil pressure though.
Hey everyone! I have an 2008 Denali with the 6.2 and I noticed recently the oil pressure seems low to me. It has 118k on it and is at about 17/18 hot at idle but driving I am at 40psi cruising at 80 at 2k. Start up cold it is between 40-60 psi. Replaced o ring on pickup, sender, new oil and...
Wheel speed sensors in the front are lifting from rust causing excessive gap from the tone ring. Replace front hubs or remove sensors and clean rust from mating surface. I agree. Get a new mechanic. I have done 100’s of these.
