Well I tried ordering the Rancho Rs7000's but getting F#cked around by a Canadian online site. The site said they're in stock but once I placed the order I get an Email saying the Rs7000's are special order. Today I finally got in contact with store and canceled my order.
I ended up going by...
Well I decided to go with the RS7000's for my Hoe, read some more reviews and they compare with Bilsteins HD's. Only problem is ordering them online, F@CKING Canadian distributors only want to sell RS5000's & 9000's and still special order.
Sunlit I think Rs7000 are basically Monroe's reflex since Monroe owns Rancho but Ranchos offer different lengths for our trucks. What about the Rancho originals RS5000's are they a decent shock? like I said I prefer a firmer ride.
Well my Hoe finally needs new shocks ( well i guess lifting it 2" with the original shocks with almost 200,000 Km's didn't help). So what do you guys recommend, I know the first choice will be Billstien but I'm looking for something more affordable. I heard good and bad things about Monroe...
Sorry Sunlit, I still don't get it. well I cleaned the tb, just did i on top of the motor with lots of rags. It's also not the throttle cable but the cruize control cable. The mounting clip is binding on the tb. I freed up the clip and lubed it but still kinda pissed off That I cant remove it...
Ok this is gonna sound stupid but how do you remove the throttle cable from the tb. I wanted to clean the tb today but couldnt figure out how to remove the cable with the plastic clip with adjusting screw. I know it's gotta be something stupid so guys be gentle with me...lol
Umm, kinda not allowed to cross border.
A couple of years ago BB performance was suppose to come to Toronto. Than decided to have the meet in Buffalo :( So still haven't got a tune for my hoe.
I would love to import from the USA but as soon the shipped product gets to the border, it goes to a Broker and Canadians get F*CKED again buy Brokerage fees. Than don't forget the Tax and Duties. The same part could cost almost the same as buying locally and the way the Canadian $$$ is now...
Well my Hoe is all fixed, Detroit Truetrac installed and she runs great. It feels like the Hoe has more power or maybe because I wasn't driving it for a week...lol Only downside is having an empty wallet, wow that SH*T gets expensive but living in Canada we get screwed every time buying parts...
Well was an interesting evening yesterday. I was reversing out of my driveway and I heard a bang. So I parked the Hoe knowing something F*cked up. Well this morning I decided to limp the truck to my buddies shop down the street and started hearing a faint howling noise. At first we thought it...
Well finally got to work on the Hoe today and the sliders were seized on the driver side caliper. Pulled them out, cleaned them up and lubed. The Hoe is back to normal :) Thanks guys
I know this is off topic but gotta replace the cats on the Hoe so thinking of doing a full exhaust. 2.5" manifold...
Well driving to work tonight and had to slam the brakes due to an idiot in a Honda cut me off, the Hoe pulled really hard to the right when on the brakes. I didn't think much of it at that moment but now every time i brake the truck is pulling to the right. In the summer I replaced all the...
Had the same problem with my Hoe, climb in back remove the door panel and you should be able to unlock the doors. On my Hoe it turned out to be the actuator and not the rod.
Well changed the TPS sensor, I inspected the old one and didn't look bad. After I installed the new one I started playing with the old sensor. When I would spin sensor it felt like it was binding. hopefully that was the problem.
Well the truck drives good and doesn't idle ruff.
Well since this morning my Hoe seems to be back to normal. Got stuck in rush hour traffic, than beat on it a little and still no issues. I'm gonna have it scanned just to see if any codes come up and might just change the TPS sensor since they're pretty inexpensive. So is there anything to...
Thanks Sunlit, I've been searching online all night about the issue. I'm hoping its just the TPS, I checked the fluid still looks good and doesn't smell burnt.
2000 Tahoe Z71 OBS, no tow/haul button.

Well it seems the problem is only when it's hot, I just went for a coffee run and the Hoe is driving normally again. Lets see what happens on the ride home in...
Well it's been a while since I had to ask a question about my Tahoe but don't know whats going on with my truck tonight. I was on my way to work tonight and when to pass a car on the freeway, so I gave it gas and the Tahoe geared down really hard but was running fine. Once I got off the freeway...
I'm running General Grabber AT2'S and love them. I bought them originally because of the price but couldn't beleave how quiet they are for an A/T tire. They also work great in wet weather and snow.
I wanted 2-3" kit as well for my 2000 Tahoe Z71 but after reading enough posts, I decided to crank the torsion bars and add a leaf in the rear. My truck is lifted approximately 2" and looks great with my 33's. I personally think the truck rides better with the crank.
