Yes the 2015 and up seats bolt in perfectly however the seat belts do not match the outside seat buckles. You'll have to either get new belts or probably grind down the latches so that they mate up with the buckles.
I picked up my Tahoe PPV and it didn't come with a jack, jack handle or spare. Does anyone know if a jack and jack handle from a 2000-2006 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban/Escalade would work? I'd like to be able to stow the spare that I picked up without having to resort to going to a dealer for the...
Good to know, thanks. I don't trust any of the computers to know the difference in sub models. In the meantime I ordered a pair of AC Delcos from Rock Auto for $11 shipped. The pic showed a pair but in the cart it said 1 so we'll see what shows up. I figured I'd just trim the OE spec'd one to...
I bought these door panels as part of a package in order to get a rear seat for my 2008 Tahoe. These are brand new take-outs from a 2015 Tahoe PPV. They have some marks along the top of the panel from sitting in storage upside down.
These are brand new take-outs that have never been used...
I bought this one as a package deal in order to get a rear seat for my 2008 Tahoe. Yes, this seat is a direct bolt-in for the 2007-2014 Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade! The outside seatbelt buckles don't match the pre 2015 latches though so you'd have to swap the belt or latch from your existing seat...
No better time than now than to drop a cam in it. I don't have any specs to recommend though. If you're not going to get much benefit from driving it then maybe just dropping in a low mileage motor from a wrecked truck would be easier and quicker.
My Diablosport tuner offered a fuel economy tune so I put that on the truck. Not sure what the effect has been though. I added an air intake at the same time.
What tires are you running? If they're wider or shorter than stock that'll have an effect on it. Do you carry any equipment in...
Sadly I'm not really dealing with water spots at all. The paint has actually got a metallic purple tint to it now from the sprinklers. I'll have to post a couple pics of what I'm talking about.
I'd like to do this mod as well be I'm guessing you're going to have to do a nationwide junkyard search for something like this. Odds are you'll only be able to get one side at a time.
This makes me feel better about my truck. I'd say 1 qt every few thousand miles is accurate. My wife uses it as a daily and we were out of town just recently and I got a low oil pressure warning after taking a hard turn. I pulled over and checked the oil and it was scary low. I bought a...
The tire is about 1.18" taller which really means that you need to worry about .59" of extra height. That's not that much. On my lowered PPV I'd think I even have enough room for that much more tire.
Sounds like you just need to dig in. I don't have a sunroof on my truck, but have on other vehicles. Getting access to the top of the drain tube isn't very hard. I'd start be removing the A-pillar and trying your experiment again. Then you might be able to see a little of what's going on.
Rotated the tires. Nothing special but my usual floor jack wasn't quite up to the job without a couple pieces of 2x4. If were going to keep this much longer I'd go ahead and invest in a higher lift floor jack but the next SUV will be a couple years down the road I think.
I've been thinking of doing the exact same thing but in a different car. I drive "spirited" though so I'd want to put some kind of barrier around the sweet spot so that the phone can't slide off the charger when taking turns or when hitting bumps.
