    Is there a way tonlook up exactly what motor is in a tahoe. I was under the assumption its a 5.3, but i was looking under hood and a sticker looks likenit says 4.8. Everything is faded really bad and I didnt get an owner's manual. Its a 2004 tahoe lt 2wd.

    Living in central florida, I doubt id have any issues with snow. Goodyears are on it now, but they are almost toast.

    Your right it was 275/55 r20. What would be the biggest i could go on stock suspension? I`ve had cooper discoverers on my truck before butbthat had a 16inch rim. How much different in ride does the bigger rim have?

    how easy is it to remove? ill have to search forum for a thread on it. cant be that hard. I think the previous owner must have had chrome caps on the door handles at one time. there looks like adhesive residue on them.

    I made the leap from owning fords for the past 10 years to buying a Chevy. I pick up a 2004 Tahoe Lt with 195k miles for $2500. so far i'm impressed with it. Needs a few minor things, but overall its a decent daily driver.i I'm not a big fan of the chrome rims. im thinking of black or grey...

    thank you. I have been searching the blend door actuator. I believe it might only be part of the problem. The controller seems to not want to change from ac to floor or defrost. no matter what setting I have it on it get air out of dash vents. Does the actuator control air flow and temp?

    I'm having issues with my ac. drivers side will blow cold and hot no problem, passenger side hardly blow anything but warm air. I can only get ac the blow out of vents on dash, no defrost or floor and anything but dash vents. My rear ac works fine. Could it be the control module on the dash...

    How many miles do you have?

    2004 Tahoe Lt. 195k miles. just picked it up a week or so ago. paid $2500 for it. needs some minor work but so far I love it. Had fords for the past 10+ years. First ever gm purchase. gonna get sit cleaned up real good for some good pictures.

    There is no and red buttons on mirror. No shark fin or metal box in dash. So i take it thatbi dont have on star. Do i need to get a module box that retain onstar or would one like this...

    How to fix Hot Air when A/C is on. Install new air mix/blend door actuator

    Is the actuator only for hot and cold? My tahoe will only work blowing out of dash vents. I can turn knob for defrost of feet but it doesnt change. Also my drivers side blows harder than passenger side.

    I recently purchased a 2004 tahoe lt. It is missing a radio, from what I've read you have to buy a module to put an aftermarket stereo in. My question is I'm unsure of what to buy. I don't have steering wheel controls and it doesnt appear to have onstar. Any help would be appreciated.
