    A big difference that I saw between the two cases is the design of the front output. The Autotrac has the slip yoke in the transfer case much like the rear output. The part time (NP205) has a fixed output with the slip in the driveshaft. Honestly I would recommend getting rid of the Autotrac...

    The reason they said you need a cross member is because on the 4 door Tahoes the torsion bar cross member is suspended from two small links rather then bolted to the frame like on the trucks and 2 door Tahoes. I know on my RCX lift I had to buy special brackets to use the existing crossmember...

    If you do go after market, I would stick with a established company like TYC and avoid the ebay headlights. I am on my second set of ebay lights now and still need to replace them. The lens are yellowed after just over a year and the first set leaked so bad that the headlight filled with water...

    They are all over the place up here, the local JY has like 4 I believe, at $300 a pop. I was going to just replace it with another 10-bolt but it is the same price to get the SF 14.

    1998 Tahoe 6 Inch RCX lift, with the blocks removed and the torsion bars cranked all the way down. LT 285-75-r16 Truck is a street rig, it was on 35s but I picked up a wheeling rig so had to lower the truck to be able to tow.

    If your into the prerunner/tube style you could probably have a shop build you one for less them some of those plate steel bumpers cost. I personally prefer tube as I have seen those plate steal bumpers get destroyed when actually use, both a road armor on a dodge and several ARB bumpers.

    Have you inspected your front end wear items yet? A crank should be fine as long as everything is in good running order, but if you have old, tired, worn out ball joints and TREs they should probably be replaced as well. Also remember you will need an alignment.

    Rear Bumper Issue W/ Lift.?

    If you know anyone that can do some minor metal fab they should be able to make you some custom bumper mount plates with a step up in them. It seems to me like just moving it up and utilizing only 2 bolts to hold it on negates the reason for having a rear bumper all together.

    How to recharge your AC

    Be VERY careful with the fix-a-leak style refrigerant as well! For 1, it can clog components of your AC system. Once this happens the pressure can build up and rupture an AC line. (Not Fun!) And 2, if there is any mention of the stop leak stuff in your system alot of shops wont touch your AC...
