it did align back to spec, but did need to replace worn out front tie rods (had 85k miles on original)
suspension angles seem alright, not maxed out at all
it actually sits 1/2" lower in rear now, but I don't mind at all...
overall very happy with result
wheels are -12mm offset.
they do rub on the power running board. gonna have to mod that this weekend.
as far as lift:
got it on ebay
did have some small challenges with the install, but overall was relatively easy...
Just put on a 3/2 leveling kit and added 20" rims with 285/55/20 tires.
They rub on the auto running board approx at the mid-point as it sits in the up position.
Any suggestions on how to trim the piece on the running board?
So I actually went with the -12 offset.
Even though it does sit outside the fender well, it looks great.. I'll post pics soon. I went with the 285/55/20 Toyo Open Country A/T II on ProComp Vertigo 40 rims
I do have a rub issue now. I have the auto up/down running boards (OEM) and the tires rub...
just added a 3"/2" leveling kit to my 08 Tahoe LTZ
now i need to finish it off with rims and tire...
looking for suggestions...
have OEM 20x9 rims and was going to stick with this size.
what do you think about a -12mm offest with 285/55/20 tires? i think this might stick outside the width of...
did you need to add a differential drop with this leveling kit? are you happy with the ride?
i'm thinking of going this route rather than a skyjacker 3" lift kit, and the $ savings would be great....
