Finally got rid of the squeak. The underside of the console lid comes off quite easily with no tools. As shown in the picture, you can just pull it apart (I used the little stubby support legs to get started) and then slide your finger in between and down the edge to pull the clips apart. I then...
See, now that is helpful. Thank you. I didn't expect everyone to be able to help, but someone else may have a similar problem and maybe even a solution. That what I was hoping for.
Post a picture of the console? There is no visible damage or anything to see. If you don't have a helpful response, please just continue your browsing...
Hey guys,
I have a 9-seat 2016 Yukon XL. The middle seat in the front row folds down into a good sized center console with three cupholders. The problem is the driver's side armrest on the lid is super squeaky. If my arm barely touches it, it squeaks. This drives me crazy! Is there any way I...
Hey guys,
I have the 9-seat version with benches in all three rows. The middle seat in the front row folds down to a pretty decent sized console that looks quite similar to the regular bench seat console. The problem I have is the driver's side arm rest on the console lid squeaks terribly...
Have 20k miles on my 2016 Yukon XL, looking to extend the warranty as long as possible. Are there any dealers on here that sell them? Any tips on what to look for and how to get the best price?

Whoa, so you didn't have to run the dash cam cable all the way down to the accessory power ports?! Can you link to the parts you used and by chance any pics or step by step guide?

When I turn the radio off that way on my 2016, I just get a black screen with the temp and time in small letters...
So if you're THE GUY, I have a totally off topic question for you! When I turned the radio off on my 2015 Yukon XL, there would be a nice big analog clock displayed. On my 2016 Yukon XL, it's just a black screen with the time and temp in small letters on the top corners. What gives?
P.S. it...
