Had a very similar issue occur this week. Had it towed to the dealership last night and today I got a call that is was my cams and lifters that went bad. :( Only 52k miles on the truck.
Can't say I blame you but you really shouldn't count the battery in there as being an issue. It's an expense, sure, but one that will need to be incurred on any vehicle not matter the brand, model, etc.
No clue where you live but here in AZ it is pretty common to go through a battery within...
I agree here with regards to the diffuser that is used on the Tahoes. I rarely ever have it open as it just creates too much noise and I can barely hear what my kid is trying to say from the back seat when it's open....may or may not be a good thing depending upon the day! Ha!
That is the part number I ordered when I needed to replace my hitch cover and it came painted to match. Looking at eBay now though, it looks like the only one that comes up with that part number is one that is primed and ready to be painted. You may need to just go to the local dealership and...
Flick up from the bottom of the touch screen. That should bring back the row of presets. You can flick up a second time to expand it to two rows of presets too, if I recall correctly.
Yeah, it is the Iridium color on the Yukon line.
Around here Yukons are almost always white or black still, seems pretty rare to see them in other colors.
^Interesting to see that they are getting rid of Tungsten and replacing it with the Shadow Gray. Love the color of my truck...kind of wish they got rid of it a while ago as I've been seeing a lot more Tungsten Tahoes on the road as of late when the first year or two that I had it I would rarely...
Thanks for the break down on the trim removal. Sounds like it would definitely be the better half of a day or more project including doing the wrap of the trim pieces.
How did you remove all of the chrome trim pieces? Does it seem like it will be easy to get them back on as well? I wrapped mine but did it while it was on the truck. I’d love to remove them and redo it but was weary as to how well they come off as well as how well they went back on.
Yep, I felt as though the suspension on the LT suited my needs just fine. Then when comparing the cost difference between a loaded LT and what a loaded Premier offered and came equipped with, I couldn't justify the extra money for what it would buy me. Honestly that was a first for me as I...
Have you recently upgraded to iOS 11.4 or 11.4.1? Under the Face ID/Touch ID & Passcode section in settings there is a new option that is enabled by default (USB Accessories). I have read from others that having this enabled has caused some issues with CarPlay connectivity. If you go in and...
Just last week I took off the Tahoe lettering and replaced it with another set in the redline style. All I used was my wife’s blow dryer, a piece of dental floss, a microfiber towel, and some isopropyl alcohol. Took the lettering and any adhesive residue off without any issues.
I’ve had my windshield replaced and did not have anything recalibrated afterwards. No issues so far and I’m at least 15k miles past when it was replaced.
