So this is a long post, but it started with the reduced engine power/ stability system disabled warning on the dash- (code was for throttle position sensor).
So I replaced the throttle body and it seemed to go away for a few months. Then it came back, so the gas pedal assembly was replaced. I...
Curious for those of you with spare tire storage inside. I took my spare out of my 2 door the other day and there was a bunch of what looked like double back tape on the rack ( first pic ) that got all over everything. It was a huge mess on the carpet and I just finished cleaning it. Is this...
Ok I got a water leak passenger side kick panel. I can see where water is leaking inside kick panel (pics below) it drips down from above but inside body panel, like A piller or bad window seal? The water on the floor is from when the compartment fills and then spills over.
So a have a little rust spot going in the corner under the side glass. Has anyone had a similar experience or know the best way to fix it? I think water is getting trapped in the window gasket and causing rust.
The second picture is where I put some flowable silicone around the top of the...
I just replaced the cable for the parking brake release and now the dash light (the one that lets you know the P. brake is on) is not working. Dose anyone have a picture or diagram of where the sensor for that dash light connects? I must have fudged it up somewhere when replacing the cable.
Hey guys any help or suggestions would be great:
Other day heater fan stopped working, found out ground wire that goes to fan was fried. I pulled the HVAC fuse and Blower fuse and fixed wire to fan. return fuses, fan working again but now battery dead. :/
Jumped batt. After that when I put key...
Last Thursday I threw a P1870 code and then the next day my transmission started slipping. I got stranded and have to have my Tahoe towed home. I found a rebuilt 4L60e trans for $600 witch is about $300 cheaper than the quote price to rebuild my current trans IF I removed it and brought it to...
Ok so one day last week I turned the Denali off took the key out and my blower for the HVAC was still blowing. Fast forward to yesterday when I replaced the Blower Resistor with the GM update one...fixed my original problem but now there is a slow clicking coming from the behind my glove box...
Just bought an 06' with only Denali for the wife (only one owner and 87k miles). Really happy with it overall. I have a couple of questions...
Does anybody know what this wire harness is coming out of the drivers side door panel?
Looks out of place.
Also not really an interior question but...
Not that I can't live without it but one of my visor mirror lights is not working. It looks like you have to replace the whole harness all the way to the pigtail in the headliner. I can not see a way to just replace the tiny bulbs. I used my tester and I am getting power right before the bulbs...
Thinking about getting the Anzo crystals https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0015PPZMC/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_1_1?colid=S475JYE9TN2C&coliid=I2XLOINFEUC109&vs=1
For those of you that kwn them which bulbs do you recommend? HID? Or Halogen? Which ones work best with no blinding oncoming traffic?
Dose anyone know the part # for the clips that hold the upper bolts on the rear shocks (96 2 door hoe). I installed the pass side ok but cant get the bolts started on the drivers side. I took the clips out and can't get the bolt to start by hand either. Seems like clips are stripped and thought...
Just like title says I can only seem to get the dash defrost to blow on the passenger side. Any ideas? Please tell me I don't have to rip the whole dash apart.
96' Tahoe 5.7
