Has any one changed the pitman arm seal/ steering out put shaft seal ? I bought the kit from gates. And disassembled the arm from the box removed the outer dust seal cleaned with brake cleaner but could not find the ends of the snap ring to remove. Any tips out advice on fixing this leak ?

I have a 06 lt with hydro boost all new rotors and pads (wagner) pedal is hard after the first 1/4 pedal. Have replaced master cylinder and hydro seals with no change think the power steering pump is has weak pressure have flushed the system still no change any suggestions ?
I have a 05 hoe with 5.3 and plan on doing some towing which shift kit should I be looking at ? I have already installed a second trans cooler and the corvette servo. I will do the install myself can I use a boost valve on this year ?
First thing get a alignment if you haven't then extend the front bump stops they are part of the spring rate. I had the same issue when I did the key/spacer on my Tahoe I made some 1" thick spacers and bolted them to the lower arms to fill the gap that helped greatly.
Its mostly a money issue for now I checked them and they are extremely stiff on compression but very slow to rebound front and rear. I plan on changing them as soon as money allows. It has bad compressor and broke sensor in the rear it does not like bumpy roads.

My Tahoe has had the auto ride disabled before I bought it. I have installed Z71 rear springs. Will it hurt to still use the auto ride shocks they seem very stiff.

I have a 2005 Tahoe that will not fully engage in 4wd transfer case and diff solenoid are working. The display says that is in 4wd I think that it is the front ifs disconnect shifter. Does that sound right and how hard are the to rebuild?

I am having the same problem the light says its in 4wd can hear it engage no service 4wd message can put it in 4wd low but the front wheels will not pull have you had any luck finding out what the problem is ?
