We have a 2017 Yukon XL that we just earlier this summer installed the full Z36 kit on. Lines were bled and proper seating directions were followed. Brakes perform great around town and normal driving. However, twice now when going down a good hill we have had problems. Once was pulling our...
I need some recommendations for a remote tuner. Currently have an AutoCal V3 I'd like to keep using. I've about had enough of the lack of communication from Black Bear and wouldn't suggest anyone use them. It's way past the ridiculous point.
So our Yukon has a Magnuson TVS 2300 on it currently. Pretty sure the coupler is shot as it rattles at idle something fierce. Debating changing the pulley to a smaller one to get a little more boost out of it while I have it apart.
Has anyone got any first hand results or experience with...
So started a thread a while back asking if anyone had used one of these cheap black grills with not much feedback. Thought I'd give it a try as it was only $170 shipped. Similar in style to this one here:
First of all getting the bumper off wasn't bad but listed to the advice on loosening...
I am in the process of doing a 2/3 or 2/4 drop on the Yukon, still undecided. Really don't want to cut into anything so wondering if the travel mod is necessary? I've heard that with a 3" drop it's not needed but a 4" drop it's almost required? I have the shorter Belltech bump-stops as well...
Hope this is the right place to post this. Thought I would start a thread showing our ride along with all the mods I'll be doing over time. I've always found it helpful when I've thought about doing something if I could find someone else who's done the same thing to see pictures of or get...
Looking at getting one of the black grills they are selling on eBay for the Yukon and wondering if anyone else has used one and what they are like? Tons of different sellers but I'm guessing they are pretty much all the same. Something like these...
Like thread title says, anyone using these? Looking at doing drop spindles but want to replace struts anyways and thought this might be a good option since just the spindles are hit or miss with actual drop. Just looking for reviews good or bad.
So our 2017 Yukon has 73k miles on it and thinking of lowering and replacing shocks/struts at the same time. Also going to do a Power Stop Z36 kit at the same time so figure might as well tear everything out.:)
Question is what shocks should I go with along with a 2/3 drop and the Z85 air...
So in the process of de-chroming our Yukon. Going to remove the chrome side trim and replace all the badges with black ones as well as RST window trim. Only thing I cannot for the life of me find is an option for the rear GMC badge that comes on the center of the liftgate, right above the...
We have a 2017 Yukon XL SLT with the Max Trailering that I am thinking of lowering a bit. Nothing crazy but thinking about a 2/3. I want to maintain full towing capabilities though is we will be using it quite a bit to tow.
Would something like the basic Belltech 1019 kit work? I'm...
Just picked up a 2017 Yukon XL and one of the first things we want to look at is deleting all of the chrome possible. What are the options out there that people have found? I've seen several black front grills but nothing in the way of actual trim pieces or front fog light bezels. Thinking of...
Recently posted about maybe looking at a 2016+ Suburban but am now leaning toward possibly doing a '07-'14 version instead. Towing/power seems similar as do a lot of options and I actually like the styling better. That being said what should someone consider when looking at years over such a...
We previously had a 2004 Tahoe that was ok, but started having a lot of little issues and was getting up over 100k. Picked up a brand new Durango R/T in 2015 and love it but with 4 kids, lots of sports and quite a bit of towing it's getting a little on the small side.
Recently we've been...
I just received a set of McGaughys 2" drop spindles for our '04 4WD Tahoe. I was curious as to how hard a install these are and if I should just have someone do them for me. I have installed alot of suspensions but all on cars. I have many a basic tool but no lift, heavy duty impact, etc. If...
We just bought a '04 Tahoe 4x4 and it has been lowered with 3" Eibach springs in back and torsion bar adjustment in front from what I can see. I took it into a shop to have the alignment done and they claim they can't get it closer then -1degree camber? Seems like with only about a 1" drop they...
