The best schematic I could find was in the Chilton report guide. I was in the process of replacing my crept, so my seats and everything were already out. There were a couple of melted illumination wires under the passenger front seat inside the factory loom. I isolated those wires and taped...
Would anyone happen to have or know where i could locate a copy of the dash wiring schematic for a 2006 yukon xl Denali? I'm trying to track down a bad ground in the illumination circuit.
After more research, the column shifted trucks have a 5pin plug plugged into the spot on the column that the shift lever attaches. That same exact plug is located on the front of the floor shifters. On both, they are both referred by GM using the same name. Also the pin-out is identical on the 6...
the H2 rear seats were a little narrower than the Tahoe was, because the door panels sat further off the doors on the H2. I'm building a custom console that goes from the dash all the way to to the third row. Main reason is to allow for a small cooler to go under the armrest between the 2nd row...
Not converting to manual because I am not the only on that drives this vehicle. When I want to drive a manual, I will drive my 3500 Ram or blown 6.2l blazer
Also, the trailblazer ss has the gear indicator in the cluster as well. It shouldn't be very different in wiring . That would make it more expensive for GM to come up with two different methods of getting the same info to essentially the same place on the cluster.
The two wires on the column shifter are for the tow/haul button. The trailblazer ss floor shifter has an o/d or traction control button on the shifter handle that can be wired as a replacement for the tow/haul button.
Picked up a tilt column from a manual truck. Harder to find one with tilt than I expected. Gonna take the next few days to strip it down to switch the wiring from the denali into it. Also, the gear selector indicator gets its signal from the black box on the side of the trans, not the actual...
So i got the idea to convert my Denali from column shift to floor/console shifter. After looking at a column from a 4.3 Stick shift Silverado, it looks like the columns are interchangeable. the wiring inside would need to be switched over but that's about it. The manual trans trucks weren't...
My dash backlighting stopped working yesterday. All other backlighting in the truck works when parking lights are on, just no dash. 30 Amp fuse for TBC keeps blowing as soon as i turn on the parking lights. All of the outside parking lights still function properly even if TBC fuse is removed.
Are you talking about the lights for the steering wheel control buttons? If so, I don't believe there is a fuse for it, its part of the circuit for all the dash back lights. its a 30 amp fuse in the fuse box on the drivers side of the dash. The fuse is marked tbc. there are three of them, but...
