    Michelin Premier LTX or Michelin Defender or Bridgestone Dueler????

    I went with the Michelin Premier LTX in a 275/55/17 on my Tahoe Z56 PPV. They have worked great here in the Chicago area this winter. The police Tahoe's came with the Goodyear RSA tires in a 265/60/17 and a very soft compound, UTG of 260.. I am very happy with these tires.

    My 09 Tahoe PPV the the back lighting for the gauges comes on during the day but won't come on at night. I am using my GPS as a speedometer at night. I am not sure why it does this. I have not taken off the battery cable to try to do a reset of the computer..

    That is the Firestick SS-174 Mount, I have one and I could not get it to look right on my 09 Tahoe Z56 PPV. I ended up making my own mount for the right side fender and used a base loaded antenna.

    Keith, I have used a Wilson 1000 magnetic mount antenna and a Uniden HR-2510 and had good results. I have ordered stuff from Copper Electronics. www.copper.com A Cobra 29 LX is a nice radio. A Wilson 1000 is a great antenna. You are going to spend about $200.00

    Voltage gauge

    I have a digital volt meter that I got from Auto Zone that plugs into the power / lighter plug. Most automotive systems run at 13.8 to 14.2 volts The volt meter is under $20.00 it also has 3 LED's that show battery charge. I know that there are issues with battery cables.

    Odd electrical issue with '10 PPV

    I am looking at replacing the Battery in my Tahoe, Most of the web look ups show a 730 CCA battery. I am looking at putting something a little bigger. I have always got the biggest battery that will fit on the tray. I like to use Interstate Batteries.
