i had Alenza's on my LTZ. Dry rotted and cracked to shart with only 50,000kms on them (09 build). They were fine in 4 winters i used them. Just replaced them with 275/60R20 AT tires and so far i am happy with them....
I plan to NEVER purchase another Bridgestone/Firestone tire....
update; compressor fixed my issue. All seems to be working well; however i have noticed that it seems that my truck ride height; particularly in the rear isn't the same from the left side to the right....
Anyone else ever notice this ? I would have to get out the tape measure but it might be as...
UPDATE:
Popped off the front sensor rods of the sensor and manually set them 1-2" higher to simulate extended rods. Turned the truck on; nothing. Just a click.
Took the truck into the dealer after reconnecting the rods and they had a look at it. Compressor was shot. Covered under my warranty...
is it auto level on the back or leaf?
Chum of mine hauls a trailer with his 2010 Sierra with 4 cords of wood in it and he added helper bags for the weight. No more sag; he said they were pretty easy to install....
I've just got 2" up in the front, have a valence and mudguards. I have OEM 20's with 275-60-20's. Zero cut, zero rub.
I know you can get a 305/55/20 in there, but it will take cutting.... and a 55 series is pretty thin. 285/60/20 is around 34". Again I'm sure trimming will be a must but there...
thanks. Found a thread by Marioski where it sounds like he was having a similar issue.
He was going to try extending the sensor bars or adding a lift block to the rear but the thread was never updated....
His compressor still ran though... i tried to PM him but I'm not allowed yet because...
hoping changing the height rods for the front sensors will get me up and running. i would just send it back to them tomorrow but if this is the problem i will be out the diagnostic fee and it still won't be functional...
When i start the truck i still hear the same audible click at the rear...
i think my next step is going to be to remove the front height bars and make them longer, see if that fixes it.... they are plastic, the metal is rusted and they are a PITA to remove....Maybe i can buy new ones from dealer?
Surely the dealer would have made sure the compressor works when they...
I'm going to pop out there and see if it kicks on.

Nope. Didn't run. Rear end seems as though it is sitting lower than the front. tried standing on the bumper to weight it. Nothing.

update: harness was broken off in one of the rear shocks, required new harness and shock. Dealer/GM subsidized the cost so i paid 1/2 the bill. Ive been told its working now. Wife picked it up on the way home so i haven't driven it.
Does the compressor run at every startup? Or just after a...
update: Tried jumping the light blue wire on the pump. Compressor did not run. i now have the Check air suspension message on the DIC (no message before).
Guess its going to the dealer after all......
i just jacked the rear end up thought maybe i could use jumpers to test the pump but its way too crowded in there; id have to remove it....
tried starting the truck on the jack cause its all of kilter to see if the compressor would kick on, it did not...
