IIRC, on the early GMT900s it was similar in features to the LT2 package. So, based on history I would assume closer to the current LT with some add ons.
We looked at the GL and the main factors that turned us away were:
1) no captains chairs
2) higher maintenance costs
3) higher overall price when optioned out
If you live without the 6.2, then save yourself the cash and get he LTZ. In my opinion there was a bigger difference between the two in options on the previous body style.
