One more thing to consider when deciding to buy new or swap sensors is, sometimes they break when you remove them and have to be replaced anyway. -

Thanks for the response Nathan. I was thinking along those lines too but wasn't sure if that would add to the repair cost. Should I strictly sand and paint, or would I need to lay down primer also. -

the paint on my black 2005 Yukon passenger side fender started to flake off. there was no rust whatsoever, and it flakes off exposing the underlying metal. due to the exposure to the elements its starting to pick up a little surface rust. I know I'll either A) have to get it repainted or B)... -

Yup that's it. If your not in a rush wait a couple weeks till black Friday to order and trs normally offers a 20% or better discount. The new xb ballast may be ready to ship by then also. If I were you I'd also upgrade to the new xb35 bulbs as well -
