That sounds like your starter. Next time it does it hold the key in the start position and have someone tap the starter with a hammer, if it starts that's your problem.

i would check all your pulleys with the belt off. check the pulleys to see if they are clean and with no damage, check the tensioner (even though its new) for cracks or looseness in the housing. with the belt on look across all the pulleys to make sure they are all straight. the problem may only...
Look for any cracks in the frame. And check the ball joints. You could also check the spring or torsion bar depending on if it's 2 or 4wd

according to his pics and directions you don't need resistors on the bulbs just the wire that supplies power to them nvm now that I look at again he has resistors on the wire to the second board and on the lights on the first board
Any rear that is the same width will work you can also find a posi (g81) or limited slip (g80) then a range of ratios just check the codes in the glove box

Hook up a fuel pressure gauge, turn the key on you should get 50-60 psi fuel pressure, turn key off it should hold pressure, if it doesn't you need a new spider. I would test that first because I found a lot of bad ones.

Hi all just got my Tahoe about three weeks ago. it has 23'' rims with 305 40r tires. not sure if its lifted haven't crawled under it yet. runs great but the mileage seems a little low about 11.3 mpg the comp says.
