I off road and street drive and my Yota doesnt have any problems with a Locker I think what your looking for is a more positive locking diff spools are ok but your gonna wear out one rear tire because the rear end doesnt unlock when turning a corner a good locker will act like an open rear end...- 2000Tahoe

Well I just picked up an 86 Chevy k30 Scottsdale 4x4 truck this is gonna be my tow rig / work truck wont be on the road alot but deff will get used and one day will end up with either a stroker a 400 or a big block back in it as for now it just has a small block and needs some interior TLC body...- 2000Tahoe

You have a suspension problem there should be more clearance between the bump stops and the control arms. basically as the other's have said somethin doesn't look right do you know the history of the truck ?
