    Lift Kit problem

Any updates? Have you checked for any play or looseness in the driveshaft? Especially the slip splines. Give Rough Country a call and talk with tech support, they've always been helpful with my projects .

Horrible "death wobble" after new wheels/tires?

The fastes way to check if it's the way the truck is currently set at, switch to a set of stock size or something close, then road test over the same road.

    I need ideas

Lol, if you take our ideas, it won't really make it "Your's" Go with what you like, looks like you've already made some nice mods on your own.

    Brake Recommendations? PowerStop?

I'm using powerstop's drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads. I haven't had any problems, or noise from them. I live in Iowa, so so they get drove in quite a bit of road salt, but they're still clean and pretty shiny.

    Going from 295/35/24 to 305/35/24

How old are your current tires? I use factory 20's with Bridgestone dueler alenza's for winter, and just put my 24's with new 305/35s and they ride much smoother overall. The 20's are from 2012, and I think they just aren't as soft and pliable.

Water in oil but....is it really a HG problem?

Are the heads on your engine the castech models? They have a great reputation for developing a hairline crack in them, and delivering the results you have.

    2002 denali transfer case interchangeable

I'm getting mixed answers locally as to whether or not the BorgWarner and New Process all wheel drive transfer cases are interchangeable. My '02 denali has a New Process 149 in it, and the rear output is getting a lot of wear internally, so I'm keeping my eyes open for another one. All I've...

    04 Yukon xl Denali clunk

Have you figured anything out? I would check the u-joints first. My '02 denali had a vibration show up, and it was the front front driveshaft joint at the transfer case. Since yours had the transfer case and front differential out, they should be fine but easy to check out. Other easy things...

Anybody running the cheaper, lesser known tires?

Here's a couple shots of the wheels, and the tire tread. Lexani lx4000. I think they're discontinued, kinda deciding between the lexani lx thirty, or Lionhart lh ten. These lexani tires seemed to have worn evenly though, and lasted a while. They were made the last week of 2009.

Anybody running the cheaper, lesser known tires?

I just picked up a set of 24" gianelle wheels, and they're in need of tires. They have Lexani 305/35r24 right now, can't remember the model. Is anybody running the cheaper Lexani, Lionhart, or Nexen tires? I would love some new Toyo, Nitto, or even Falken tires, but at about $300 apiece...

Best control arms for 00-06 tahoe's and yukons

Did you check rockauto, and amazon? I just looked on rockauto, uppers are about $68 for my 2002 yukon. Amazon is a little higher usually, but free 2 day shipping

    Horrible sway

If the rear axle doesn't perpendicular to the frame and front wheels, it will change the direction of motion. That will cause the driver to compensate by turning the steering wheel. Any wear, slop, or looseness in the suspension will have an impact on drivability. If a person can move any mount...

    Horrible sway

Replace your rear control arms. I just replaced mine this weeknd. Huge difference. I got the control arms from rockauto, but the lateral rod had to be purchased at my local dealership. Took less than 2 hours for all 5 pieces.

    Factory style rear control arms

I'm wondering if anyone has replaced their rear control arms with stock type parts? My '02 yukon denali has 135,000 and wondering if I would notice a difference in handling and ride.

    2007 Calipers on a 2001

I'm interested in doing this upgrade, if it's as simple as switching to the newer rotors, calipers, brackets, and pads. That's the only parts needed, correct? Along with the brake fluid, cleaners, grease, and tools obviously. Mine is an 02 yukon denali, if that matters. Thanks

    2002 Tahoe brakes

If your brake pedal slowly but eventually travels to the floor!, I would say it's the master cylinder. If it doesn't go to the floor, might be the booster. Check the vacuum hose for any cracks or loose connection.

    2002 Tahoe brakes

Just noticed the post is several days old, any updates?

    2002 Tahoe brakes

If you don't see any leaks, and your master cylinder reservoir is full, it's most likely the master cylinder itself leaking internally.

    Tire size

I would do the 70 series too, mainly because there's more tire options in that size.

Tires for 20in rims on 2004 tahoe.

I have a set of Bridgestone dueler alenza on my '02 yukon, 275/55 20. I put a thousand miles on them last week from des moines to fargo and back. Super quiet and smooth. I ran thru some sleet and snow also and they had no trouble with traction.

    Front bump stops

H8 PVMT, not sure if this helps, but my '02 yukon denali part # is 15153958. You might be able to give your parts guy the last 8 digits of ur vin to confirm. I just replaced mine, and they made a pretty noticable difference in ride and absorbing some noise.

    '02 yukon denali u joint part #'s?

Wondering if anyone has thee part numbers for u joints on a 2002 yukon denali? I'm getting ready to change mine, and after I pull mine apart I won't have a easy way to the parts store. I looked at rockauto, and they only have a couple options, but o'reilly's and napa have several, including...
