New to the family is a 2016 white SSV . I'm puzzled RPO KNP is a HD trans cooler. Is this the little auxiliary cooler that is in front of the radiator ? I have one on the 2011 and this SSV dosen't have that cooler in front of the radiator. Looks like this SSV took a nose shot and lots of parts...
Does anyone know if a rear bias spring is sold for the master cylinder ?
A rear bias spring will send more pressure to the rear brakes. It reduces the inherent nose dive these vehicles have when braking.
EDIT On second thought this won't work with our electronic ABS-Stability control...

Well it has started. Now with the L9H conversion the 8.5 rear I have noticed has lots of play in it. The 8.5 rear end was marginal in strength before the engine conversion , IMO the 8.5 is a weak little rear to start with. So it begins........
Two questions if I may.
From checking the Forum...
I took the LC9 out of my 2011 Tahoe and replaced with a 6.2. The 5.3 was well taken care of with 4-5K mile Mobil 1 Full synthetic oil and filter changes. The engine ran good. This is a full pullout all accessories full wiring harness ECM airbox included. 1500. engine is in NY you pay if shipped. PM
I posted in a thread about wanting to change the cam etc on my DOD 5.3. By the time I got done with everything (parts gaskets time etc) finding a L9H 6.2 was a no brainer for me. So I waited and found a good deal on a L9H with verified miles. Yesterday we fired the L9H up with the 5.3 BB tune...

When I had my 2006 SSV Tahoe it had hydro-boost brakes on it. Stopping was excellent. Fast forward to my 2011 Tahoe and the reason for this post.
Any one have hydro-boost brakes on they're newer (GMT900) Tahoe ? Did any of the newer models come with a hydro-boost brake system ?
TIA

I have a 2011 Tahoe , that D.O.D/AFM is enough to drive one crazy. The Tahoe is constantly stumbling over itself. This thing runs horrible at best. Totally different than the 2006 Tahoe ran. Can't wait until spring and get the Tahoe tuned correctly by BB.
Looking for a S/C also just in case...
2006 SSV , The rear doors and the rear hatch will not unblock. They used to lock and unlock. Now they will only lock. What the heck am I missing here ?
Thanks .

PerformaBuilt or ProBuilt
Anyone have dealing's with PerformaBuilt or ProBuilt ?
My SSV has 158K on the clock and I want to tow an open car trailer (5K lbs). At this mileage I would feel that the trans should get rebuilt before I start towing. Got the 40K TruCool cooler all ready.
TIA
Can some one tell me the stock steel width on a Tahoe ? I'm measuring 7" but that's tough to do with the tire mounted. I'd like to install a slightly taller and wider tire. Currently using Goodyear Silent Armor 245-75X16's
