Tuner in DFW Texas area for e-fan activation?

Howdy friends, Does anyone know of a good place in the DFW area that offers this kind of service? I don't really have a need for any performance tuning, I would just like to enable the e-fan control in the ECM without having to have a lot of downtime for mailing of my unit. Thanks.

Bike rack options for factory roof rack? (2002 z71)

Something like this? https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Adapters/Malone/MPG544.html Could work depending on the trailer and the bike rack.

Bike rack options for factory roof rack? (2002 z71)

Putting it on a hitch mounted platform is far easier, even for 6'5'' me, but since the OP is mentioning going camping, I am assuming he's towing a trailer of some sort making it inconvenient to use a hitch mounted bike rack.

Bike rack options for factory roof rack? (2002 z71)

I have been a huge fan of rockymounts bike racks for a long time, both their roof-mounted and their hitch mounted options. I used their tie-rod roof mounted carrier on my car, and have the split-rail carrier for the hitch on the suburban. Just a heads up: If you regularly park in the garage, or...

Yep, filled up for $1.89 this morning without looking around terribly for the cheapest place.

Anyone has a front camera setup for parking assistance?

So I'm looking to make it a little easier for the wife to park the suburban. It's easy enough to get a backup camera, along with a new headunit but does anyone have a front camera setup for parking assistance? Not a dash-cam, but something that will help show how close (or far usually) the front...

    Refinish headliner?

Not to mention, the foam is what breaks down and makes to original headline fall off and sag. If you don't remove all of the old foam the new fabric will soon start sagging again. I always got foam-backed fabric to do my headliners. If yours isn't, I imagine you're going to have to add that...

    Demon possessed heated seats!

Did you disconnect both heating elements? If you only did the bottom it's possible that the backrest one is the one that Issa showed out

    Demon possessed heated seats!

It's not particularly hard, the hardest part was getting all the connectors undone underneath the seat. I did it with the seat in the vehicle, the bottom cushion is only held with the two nuts on the front underside and two keyhole slots in the back (once nuts are off, lift the front and...

    Demon possessed heated seats!

Who wants to play spot-the-short!? Finally got around to doing this lat night, didn't realize the design of the heater element was quite this dumb, whoever thought it a good idea to lay the wires in a crossing, grid pattern? On something people sit on likely every day. No wonder these things...

    Refinish headliner?

You can always do the visors to match as well. I didn't bother to color match mine, I got a completely different material as well so I just got something I figured would look nice.

    2003 yukon problem..door lock issue

I think it's a local problem in the door locking mechanism itself and not related to your ignition. There is nothing in the power lock system that should be keeping the actuator under constant tension, if that was the issue you should be able to pull the power lock fuse, or even disconnect the...

    2003 yukon problem..door lock issue

It doesn't sound to me like it's a problem with the actuator, it sounds like you have something manually preventing the lock from opening. Have you tried having someone pushing the door in from the outside while attempting to force the manual lock slide inside to move? Or maybe push on the...

    2003 yukon problem..door lock issue

Passlock is not a RFID chip in the key. It's simply a sensor in the ignition cylinder housing:

It might help me, I'm about to embark on a parasite hunt myself, not a place where I would have expected to find drain.

Sunroof track arms have snapped - any experience with a fix?

Neal, with the external deflector like you have, have you considered simply removing the pop-up deflector since it is obviously not providing any "deflection". I might pick up an external deflector myself, I didn't even think of that until I saw your pictures.

    Demon possessed heated seats!

To consolidate a bit, it looks like there are 3 common causes for seat heat issues: 1) Per the service bulletin replacing the seat heater switch with a low-profile version (for when caused by elbow bumping the buttons?) Seems fairly unlikely a culprit to me. 2) Malfunctioning seat heater...
