Yeah it's only zip tied into place. It's the hoses that are leaking and I do plan on getting new ones.
It's definitely not factory connections, band clamps on both ends.

I have looked online for this part but all I see are trans coolers and they do not have this hose. The hose runs from the top corner of the passenger side radiator into this cooler which I thought was just a trans cooler but....

Bingo! This is what I did. I did a short write up in the link above.
Did this job today in about 3 hours, with breaks.
Jacked up the 01 Tahoe, supported with jack stands (driver's side). I used a T20 bit stuck into a small socket and used the small ratchet to remove the 4 Torx bolts(circled in red). The picture is the view from underneath so the 4 holes/bolts...
How in the world do you remove this thing? On my 2001 Tahoe there's like 1-2 inches of clearance above it. There's no way to get just this part off by itself. I do not want to take that whole unit out.
Any pointers?
