    Headlight question

    I am pretty sure you can put any HID's you want as long as you make sure the bulbs dont touch anything, different kelvin and bulb types are different sizes. Hook up isnt as easy as the bulb plug thing but very manageable. But then again i could be wrong...just my .02, GL

    I ve always like the idea of captians chairs in the front and back with a center console the runs from the dash to the rear seats. It'd conceal the DV and be unique...just my .02

    You must hook up a power source from your new deck, i reccommend the blue/white stripe one. Hook that up to the pink one on your factory harness. GL

    There is an AUX in put on these i ve installed many of these units. In order to access some of your kenwoods features you must put your deck into stand-by mode. SRC button should get you there. Then access menu and you should be able to turn aux on or switch source. GL

    what kind of glue do you use? Ive tried a lot from 3m/krylon/all hobby lobby brands. I cant really find anything better than super77 or super90.

    Quick Viper 5901 install question

    Should be plenty long(antenna), ive put them in a number of SUV's with no issue. On a side note placement is acutally pretty important of the antenna as ive noticed a considerable differance on left/right side of windsheild as apposed to the center.

    YES, with newer Chevy/GM you need interface/moduel(sp?) for things like OnStar,Bose,Door Chimes,steering wheel controls etc. to work properly with aftermarket equipment...As far as the player on all the time, if it is wired to the raido you can hook up power for the DVD player to you accessory...

    So I installed my aftermarket overhead and.....

    I know on newer GM/Chevys there is a rear audio controls on the center consel and you can turn off the front sound that is heard in the back...maybe??? Also if they are wireless via an FM Transmitter you could try to see if you can change frequency...another maybe??? Good Luck eihter way

    Some call it alternator whine, usually a signal wire (rca) ran closely to a power wire, or could be a loose/bad ground. Check that and also if you have aftermarket amp you could add a ground loop isolater(sp?) and that should take care of it, if its all factory and in the actual speakers and not...

    The back up camera feature is nice cause it comes on with the reverse signal, although yours does not, it should have an video input that is easily accessed from the menu...if not then i guess your on track with a diff model.

    dont have any good info but ill throw out some ideas: Aftermarket Raido w/BU camera. Signal wire for the cam should be tapped into that, also ive heard but not too sure that there is a reverse wire signal in the rearview mirror, may only be with newer vechiles but ive seen it in some???Check...

    Alpine in-dash help

    In the options menu when the device is on you should be able to turn the moniter settings either on/off/auto open/clsoe. Look in moniter settings, system settings, TFT settings are where id start. Hope this helps
