I’ve since traded it in for a 2021 but the short time I had it with the Arnotts I thought it was great. Rode smoother but my oem shocks were shot for quite a while.
Agreed! The ride with the independent rear suspension is much better. Plus, the 2015 had 22’s and the 2021 has 20’s so I’m sure that helps with ride quality too.
I traded in our 2015 Yukon XL Denali last week for a 2021 XL Denali. It's a low option Denali, which I prefer, only having the RSE and sunroof options. So far it seems to be a great SUV and my wife and kids are already enjoying it. I had a 2015 6-speed, 2015 8-speed and now the 2021 10-speed...
I think you're right. Things may have changed, but about 10 years ago I worked in the auto manufacturing industry and we had so many problems with Eibach struts/shocks. About 25% would arrive with blown out seals. Again, that was a while ago, but I'm leaning towards the AS3429. They are not...
Ya, I see they are both for magneride, which I have and don't want anymore. I believe they both also have the sensor built in to stop the Service Suspension error message. I'm just not sure on any other difference. I emailed Arnott and their response was not informative at all. Yes, the $393...
I need to replace the rear shocks on my 15 Yukon XL Denali. I'm looking at the Arnott 3066 and 3429. The only difference I can see is the 3066 is mono-tube and the 3429 is twin-tube. Has anyone used the 3429? What are the factory rear shocks, twin or mono? Or does the magneride even fall...
To follow up with my tail light post. I had finished doing the exhaust flapper mod, and when I started the Yukon to back it out of the garage, I noticed the passenger tail light was out. I hit it a few times with my hand and it would intermittently work. The LED tail lights are a sealed unit...
I cursed myself with this post! I have a tail light out now. Looks to be a common problem with 15 16 models. I’ll open it up tomorrow and solder it up.
So... I've been a member since 2013 but I don't post very often.
A lot of the threads I've come across tell others to avoid 2015 model years or any 1st model year runs. While there may be some valid points to that, I wanted to inform others that may be lurking here and thinking about...
New to the site and new to Chevy. I bought a 4x4 2007 Tahoe LS used and it came with 22 inch wheels with 305/40R22 tires. I don't mind the look but they do me no good in the winter. I've been cruising ebay for some 17 inch factory wheels. My questions are:
What year wheels will fit mine...
