I haven't driven the pickup with the 4cyl, but a good friend just bought one... his mpg is no better than my '18 Yukon Denali. It has decent enough power to move an empty half ton pickup around but there's no way I would put it in a full size SUV...
I've read some of the stuff from the Corvette forums about the new "unbreakable" ecu's and how complicated they are... I do not doubt persons waaaaay smarter than me saying it's impossible...BUT, there are also some pretty darn smart hot rodders out there that just looove a challenge.
I'm...
I've removed the bumper cover and had several of my vehicles entire front bumper cover repaired and repainted because of this. We've owned several different makes of cars over the years, it seems mainly GM who still cannot engineer a way to attach a front plate without screwing coarse wood...
My local dealer has a XL Ultimate on the lot...$25k adjustment. Its all PR posturing by GM, they know and have known, they absolutely do not care.
It would be less insulting to me as a potential buyer if they would simply say " it's a free market... " instead of the blatant lie that they can't...
Hard to tell in the pic but is all the trim Vader or just the grill and front trim? Looks like the window trim and door handles are regular chrome...even the side moulding looks chrome???
100% marketing BS... when you call GM corporate (and I have) they will tell you they "discourage" those tactics but ultimately the dealers are independent sellers and GM has no control...
It will be interesting to see exactly what the price difference is between a loaded non-Ultimate and the Ultimate that comes basically loaded... and if SC will be available on non-Ultimates.
(Nothing against the Ultimate, love the different details! Just curious what the premium is...)
I can understand and deal with the initial 3 years on a premium product with enhanced features....BUT, having it tied to more basic features that I might not be able to access if I decide not to continue the subscription would be very very bad...
Does anyone know what you lose if you...
There are several companies in my town that specialize in this type of repair, both mobile and brick/mortar businesses... NOT talking about a tire store or a place that sells custom wheels, these are places that only do repairs specifically.
You would be surprised at what they are able to true...
Excited to see if they change the face of the Yukon any... not that I don't like it already, just always curious to see the direction the designers take.
This doesn't just say there are good experiences...this says very plainly that they are capable of stepping up and doing the right thing if they want to....
Visited my dealer yesterday, senior sales manager said "call me June 1st.. and we will see what I can order" and it will definitely be a '23 MY.... '22s cut off several weeks ago.
This is probably pretty accurate...but I do wonder if they might give these a preferential just to get more than 5 on the street?
If you do a build on one of the Ultimate pickups and go to Inventory, there are a lot more than 5 trucks inbound....
It definitely has made a difference historically. Big SUV sales have gone dead in the past when fuel prices were high.
Even with a Diesel, which is near impossible to get right now because of constraints, my local diesel fuel prices run higher than gas so any savings is evened out...
