Hey do you know what model number are for your bilsteins hd with that drop? I have tonys 3/5-6 drop and i want different shocks instead of my belltech sp. Thanks
You sound like me lol. They are ok but im not trully satisfied with them. I wish i knew what size bilsteins i could get for my drop. Somewhere i heard that old Bronco shocks would work with this drop but who knows. Once you do the free travel mod it rides alot better. I used a saw zaw to cut...
I did the free travel mod and i got djm swaybars and spohn panhard bar. I wish i knew what other shocks would fit with this 3/5-6 dop that way i can try other shocks.
Hi Tony, i would like less mushy shocks. So i guess stffer would be nice all around. Example if im at a dead stop and someone moves in the vehicle i can feel my tahoe rock abit. I know its normal but i dont feel the same on my other "stock" tahoe, like if the shock dampining is abit too soft for...
I would assume they do. I dont see why they wouldnt. I dont think the drivetrain has anything to do with the height you can make it. Yes i have picture but not of before only after. Give me abit and i will upload them.
I have tonys 3/5-6 kit and its been about 10 months now and it rides really well. It seems to tighten up even more now meaning it seems to settle in more and is even more responsive. I can take corners like a car and its a 4wd.
Dude pls listen. You need to put the shocks from tony and do the free travel mod.....trust me ive done it to mines. Nivomat shocks will raise your truck and wont work properly with belltech springs. They are designed to work in conjunction with factory springs. I also had the zw7 setup. Put...
It is directly on the steering shaft underneath the plastic cover that covers the hazard light switch. Once you take the cover off there will be an opening on the coloum and you will be able to see the set screws (torx) on the shaft. Again its under that cover, if you go, say abt 10 inches down...
I have tonys 3-5/6 kit. Although i love the stance and handling i want stiffer shocks than the belltech sp shocks that it came with. I was looking at the bilsteins but i am open for any suggestions. Can anyone please help??
Honestly i have also had this problem even after lowering it. Do urself a favor and check the torx set screw underneeth the plastic cover over the hazard light switch. I found mine to be loose even though the factory puts a dent on the side of the set screw so it wont back out.....well, it did...
Does anyone know what Bilstein shocks would pair up good with Tonys 3/5-6 kit? It came with the belltech sp shock but i would like something abit stiffer. Belltechs arent bad at all, they are comfy i just want to try something different. If anyone has experience on this matter please let me know...
At first I did not use the rear spring isolator which for some reason gave the ride a bumpy feel in the rear. So I ordered the isolators and WALLA bounciness went away. The ride is comfortable and responsive. It is not stiff but its nice and firm without body roll. All in all I love it. And I...
