    I just recently finished getting my exhaust and intake done on my tahoe. The exhaust is a magnaflow #12579 and i bought the intake from autozone. JUst finished getting the tips put on yesterday.

    pics I hope once i get the new shocks in it will actually raise the back up a wee bit, its sits a bit lower in the back, and i am happy with the front so we'll see. anybody who lowered their truck and put new shocks, did it raise the truck at all?

    what to do next

    badges already taken off, not visible in the pics, and the side moldings will be taken off when i get my esky rear vents and have the mirrors repainted. I'll pull the molding off and have my friend who runs a body shop, get all the glue and polish everything where the moldings came off.

    2" mcgaughys spindles, 4" belltech pro coils, belltech bump stops, shock relocators. Bilstein shocks front and rear are one the way along with new front bumpstops.

    They are 22". They are made by Venti model V73. I just installed the drop kit 2" spindles, 4" belltech coils with belltech bumpstops, and shock relocators. Bilstien shocks front and rear are next.

    i would use the rear shocks, but they are bead and need to be replaced. They are the oem ones, never changed out.

    So i finally got some free time today, went to my dads shop and we lowered my 01 tahoe. I went with Mcgaughy's 2" spindles, Belltech 5305 coils, shock relocators, and new belltech rear bumpstops. It looks amazing, however i may have to go like 1 " lower in the front. I cant believe how much...

    shock extenders check with www.suspensiononline.com, the vendor on this site, he purposely shipped me 2 sets of the extenders, to insure i'd get em in time, i believe hes trying to resell them.

    2/3 almost ready to go

    I received my 2" drop spindles from Mcgaughys today and the rear coils are scheduled for delivery on dec 9. If all goes well i'll be going to my dads shop sunday morning to install. I can't wait................ :rocking::rocking:

    yeah, well i did the mcgaughys 2"spindles and the belltech pro-coil which is supposed to give you either a 3 or 4 " depending on if you use the spacer that comes with it

    MTX thunderform

    anthony, yes that is the one im referring to. I am considering purchasing this as i want a little more bass but do not want to fill the entire back of my truck with subs. I did all that on my last car and had fun with it, but now i just want clean sound.
