This is the second vendor that being Synthetic Motorsports (rep.-Chris) that I have ordered from in the past few years as I ordered a full brake upgrade from Chris and his team and they came through in colors. The vendor support to this forum has been great thus far, Chris at Synthetic and Tim...

    Steering stabilizer

I was wondering if installing a steering stabalizer (something that some of you have persued and also posted) would be an issue when the cold weather returns, the idea of dampen out the never ending road shimmy that travels up through the sloppy steering linkage is very inviting. But my concern...

Bang for your Buck; Escky, Denali, or LTZ

Great thoughts guy's and I tend to agree that the Denali is a front runner no doubt, I do like the front end look of the Tahoe the best out of all of them. Can you get the cool seats in the Denali and if so can someone speak to that if possible. The HP seems to jump in the Danali from 380 to 404...

Bang for your Buck; Escky, Denali, or LTZ

Now that some of you have had some seat time in your wonderful rides and maybe some time to refect a little on your purchase, if one was to ask you if you would buy the same truck again...would you or would you alter your purchase ?. Lets use the production year(s) as 2008/2009 for this thread...

    Cleaning my engine

Another good trick is to spray it down with a bathroom tile cleaner (soap and tile) they are very inexpensive at a couple bucks a can and work great leaving the engine bay clean without leaving a slippery film that just collects more dust. I tend to use the Lysol brand (pink can) it will also...

    Gibson Headers..

If you gone thru the effort of installing the headers and it seems as though its just a niose issue what about wrapping the header pipes with some thermal wrap as this may deaden the tiny sound and also provide you with a heat shield or sorts. Did you try a mixture of soup and water and soak a...

    Which GPS Should I Get?

Gps I went with a garmin 760, Ebayed it at $185 and it has worked flawlessly thus far. I did not need all the extra features that it has but one criteria that you should consider when selecting a portable GPS is the screen size "bigger is better" amongst other things. Cheers Ian

    Motor Oil

0-30 German Castrol Look into the 0-30 Castrol full syn. but the key is to look for the bottles that have the red seal crest on the front and on the back of the bottle it will state that it is manufactured in Germany very important. Bob the oil guy as found on the internet (bobtheoilguy.com)...

Upper and lower Ball joints replacement

I have a 2/3 lower kit for my 03 Yukon (Air Ride) that I purchased from Tim at Suspension on line (forum sponsor) but before I get it installed I was wondering if it is common to replace both the upper and lower B/J when installing the lowering kit. If so what is the best replacement combination...

Bulging "A" pillar (plastic tending to buckel)

JK, The metal post clip is worn as to be expected (removed several times) but it still seems to hold, it seems as though there is a rubber hose line on the passenger side and along with some electrical leads that tend to make it a busy area. The tweater depth is slightly deeper but that's not...

    Placing the cross over device

I'm in the midst of installing a Infinity 6020CS component system as a replacement system for my 03 Yukon and I was wondering where is the common placement of the cross over device (in the door?) as I'm a little nervous of this location from the view that the door is opening and shutting a great...
