    Got it. I see what you mean with the LCQ-1. Probably the safer way to go. Even though I'm not going high end - I may still be dissatisfied with the sound range if I go with a cheaper LOC like a PAC-SOEM4. I'd get the whole thing wired up and then discover I should have went with the LCQ.

    I was thinking of using one of the Audiocontrol units from Crutchfield. But I have heard good things on the JL unit. I also am thinking of doing the same upgrade like the OP keeping my sub and head unit. How easy (or hard) is it to run wiring? Will I have to remove consol, seats, etc.?

    It helped the musty smell a lot but didn't get rid of it totally. I want to get one of those cans on spray to clean it out. I also read someplace you can install a relay that makes the blower stay on for a t time after you turn the vehicle off to dry everything out.
