    2/3 drop while retaining autoride?

Plan is drop spindles up front and a 3” spring in the rear with shock extensions Here’s a random picture of a build I just...

    Doug118’s “that poor Suburban”

Let’s start from the beginning. This is going to be just a few pictures from each “phase” of the truck. Started as a $2700 bone stock auction score. 220k miles. Was repo’d from the previous owner and only ended up needing a water pump

    Converting from awd to 2wd?

I searched quickly on an Escalade forum and they all seem like cry babies when asked this question with zero help. Has anyone ever converted their awd truck to 2wd? Mechanically I know it’s a simple trans and driveshaft swap but I’m more curious about the electronics aspect of it

    Do’s and don’ts of lowering 4wd/awd

I know every possible thing there is to know about lowering a 2wd gmt900 but nothing about the front of the 4wd version. Is it pretty much the same? Same part numbers? What issues arise and at what drop do they happen? Here’s a picture of my new to me ESV. I don’t want to get out of control...

Front strut “flip” as a lowering option

For the DIY guys, here’s another option to lower the front of your truck. The strut normally mounts to the top of the control arm. You can mount it to the bottom to lower about 1.5-2” without any spacers. Want to go even lower, add spacers until you get the drop you want. 3rd picture is the...

Rear door locks suddenly stopped working

Went to unlock my truck this morning and neither of my back doors would lock or unlock. Is there some sort of relay or module that controls both back doors? No it’s not the actuators because the likely hood of both breaking at the exact same time with zero warning is just not possible

It’s been a huge struggle to find someone to notch my frame locally but it finally happened. There was a lot more involved than just cutting for the notch. The brackets on the rear end that hit the factory bump stops had to be cut off the rear end, the frame had to be cut for the panhard bar...
