Anyone know what part this is?
I’m doing it myself, and he’s a mechanic not my mechanic. I’ll try socket and c clamp/hammer. Thought maybe there was a better technique. Thanks tho. Just to clear something up, the truck isn’t at the mechanics anymore, but im sure i could drop it off and wait an hour for him to finally put it...- doylee4693

He said its where the caliper bolts go thru imto the caliper, like a boot or something lol.. he tried to explain it to me but im not sure what the hell he was saying. And they are closed so i was hoping someone would be able to call it out quick so i cqn put an order in for it now lolz.- doylee4693

Anyone know what part this is?
Brought my truck in to get the wheel bearing changed after I stripped the stupid t55 caliper pin. They said they had to use alot of heat to get to the wheel bearing. Anyway they said they burned off a piece of rubber. They couldnt describe to me what the rubber piece was by name lol.. what the...- doylee4693

The painted white panels are in decent shape with scratches down to plastic on the inside and a few almost un noticeable scuffs on the outside. No pressure in cooling system
Actually its holding pressure so if there is a leak I’m gonna say its internal. The only other thing i can think of is that maybe there was air in the system from when the hose clamp was repaired and when it cleared up it made it appear as if im losing coolant. Welp she held pressure. My question is, if I put uv dye into the coolant, will it show up in the exhaust water if the truck has a bad head gasket? Also if the cylinder head is cracked and coolant is making it’s way into the oil, will the uv light pick up the dye in the oil?- doylee4693

im borrowing so I have to take what I can get. It’s 260.00 bucks I could buy more usable tools with. Actually it doesnt screw in, it goes in and expands and then locks in place.. didnt lock very well tho. Judging by the reviews of this kit online it’s happened to alot of people- doylee4693

Actually the adapter was defective so I used the universal adapter and it started to build pressure until it got to 15 psi and the universal adapter blew off and half the fluid in the expansion tank blew all over me and the truck LOL! That did not go good.. it started taking on psi and as soon as it got to 15 psi POP goes the weasel. Coolant everywhere including my eyes.. well guess the fitting was defective afterall- doylee4693
